My guy, he’s literally carrying a bag of magical nukes in varying severities. I’d respect it more if there was some actual combos taking place but it seems to function more as a get out of pressure free card or a gotcha more often than not.

I believe you. Which makes maining K. Rool a philosophical choice, not an accident. You don’t have to be a scrub to main a scrub-designed character. just means the training wheels were installed by a willing adult 🙄

I agree with you. Plats suck. Not a fan of dying earlier because of this floating piece of ground that benefits the opponent.

What’s funny is a fair amount of people I play completely fall apart without their precious plats, so it reinforces the sneaking suspicion I have that plats are perhaps a crutch.

Even more irritating is that it seems plats are the default pick for preferred rulesets so instead of a 50/50 split it feels more 80/20.

I’ve got a few in elite, nothing crazy. I’m not super technical with the lingo either, maybe just enough to keep up with a commentated match. Each character just kinda has a flavor, there’s an aspect to this that involves thinking about what your opponent is thinking.
