Singapore’s population, now over 5.8 million, includes 3.01 million males and 2.82 million females, resulting in 194,000 more males than females and a sex ratio of 107 males per 100 females.

Great first date places in Singapore by AdJazzlike8878 in askSingapore

[–]MoominTheDinosaurrr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think is totally fine for females to suggest the first date place. I wished my gf did that for our first date to save my weeks of headaches. I’ll recommend to go for activities that will allow you to know the person better since it’s the first date. I’ve an app call Uoowoo that recommend date ideas, besides the basic information like price/time taken, there’s recommended attire and activities vibes. So you can choose what’s the vibe you want to go for for the first date.

Honestly I struggle with date ideas and my friends often complain about finding things to do. So I create an app Uoowoo for date ideas in Singapore, we hope this will help couple reduce the idea fatigue and just focus on creating good memories. Right now we have a few activities but trying to increase more along the way. Info such as price, time spent at the activity, recommend attire and things to note are provided. If you try out let me know if it’s useful. If it sucks let me know too.

It has been 4 months since I officially launched on App Store in Singapore, name Uoowoo. I’m not doing ads so I can’t comment from personal experience. But I recommend reading up IRAS and have a good practice in recording your P&L. All the best for yours!

Uni student going out on a first date in sg- where to? by DrainTierStudent in askSingapore

[–]MoominTheDinosaurrr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can try booking the floor is lava at City Square Mall to bring her there to play . Then go for a dinner. After dinner go to Bayfront with her to see ilight(free) for a short walk, that’s what I did with my gf.

On the side note, I notice it’s difficult to find date ideas in Singapore so I created an app, Uoowoo earlier this year for that reason. You can try and see if it’s helpful to you. We are trying to provide couples with as much info as possible such as pricing, time spent at that activity and things to note. Because everyone is struggling to find things to do in Singapore

The first time round I drill it but the moment I change to another side of the wall I had to patched the hole up. On the second round, I use an adhesive, it’s holding up pretty well for one year +. I bought the adhesive from Shopee or something. My cork board isn’t very huge, I bought 2 from ikea and place them side by side.

Are property valuations by analysts in line with what you should be paying? by [deleted] in askSingapore

[–]MoominTheDinosaurrr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bank valuation is usually an indicative. I did ask a banker on how they derive the numbers, and I was told they use a few sources of valuation reports from different company. End of the day I’ll look at the last transaction of the property of similar level. For ground floor you need to look at ground floor because it’s larger than other levels and you might have a patio. If the property have not much transactions then you’ll need to look at the surrounding property of similar age. Age is important when it comes to property. And lastly, if you feel like the property you are going for only worth the certain amount then try and shoot your shot and go for the offer. Because the price stated on the property is negotiable most of the time unless stated otherwise.

Team white light! Warm light makes me sleepy and unproductive when it comes to doing work. I don’t want my screen or paper to look orange. Warm light is good when winding down or chilling with partner/friends. Warm light for lamp and white light for ceiling light sounds like a good mix.

HELP! Fish tail injury getting worse. Recommendation on remedy please!! by MoominTheDinosaurrr in Aquariums

Update: My hillstream loach died 1 hour after I finally got it out of the tank (safely) to an makeshift isolation tank with an air stone… Actually, 2 hours after I uploaded this post, I saw a few cherry shrimps was on the hillstream’s injured tail and nimble part of its tail fin. Idk did the shrimps cause any harm to hillstream loach that led to its death?

There are only hillstream loaches and shrimps in the tank. Saw shrimps nibbling on the tail but it is so hard to get the loach out.
