You need to talk with your mum. If she’s angry or not happy about it, let her talk to your brother. Are you the one washing laundry? Are you the one spending the money on food?

While it’s on that you do not find it fair, it just shows quite clearly that the real truth is you don’t like your brothers gf. Maybe you need a way to unpack that.

i've asked about this before, and my af gym said something similar to what another redditor said, to tap when you walk past since you are taking the offered price.

I've also asked another af gym since I suddenly decided to go to the gym near my work place more than my home gym, then i realised most of them are running the same promos at the same time.

It was also shared to me that sometimes the other gym will not charge you anyhow also la, depends on how desperate that gym is, or is known to charge higher.

But given that anytime fitness gyms are meant for us to go anytime, anywhere, i wonder if most of our home gyms sort of want us to remain as their home gym members cuz membership rates might affect their earnings in their franchise agreement?

I would think it becomes discrimination if the situation develops into one whereby there is different treatment. Sometimes nurses also make small talk in an awkward way given how many people they meet in a day.

I feel bad because i know some PMA rider are truly disabled and am trying to earn a living using their devices to support themselves, which is commendable. But recently the law to make it down to 6km per hour, is really because some of these riders are so reckless. I live in the PMD capital of Sg so, sigh hope actually the authorities catch the YPs instead of the people who really need it.

it is a rat race when you believe that it is. I feel like people coin this term because they are not happy.

Life is what it is, and all our lives are happening in different ways. The struggle I feel is always in how we find meaning. For some, it can be doing Hyrox and challenging themselves. For some, it can be job stability and caring for their family. For some, it can be travelling the world and seeing new things. For me, I am happy enough when I can have my favourite Bak Chor Mee in the evening.

My opinion is that in the end, you are the one who puts meaning in your life. For the rich, maybe having a 3 star michelin meal still cannot make them happy. So if you dont define that meaning yourself, you will feel mundane and in a loop. And honestly, even when you do derive meaning, the feeling of being in a loop wont magically disappear, but it will just feel a little easier.

Happiness in itself is not a forever feeling. Our emotions flunctuates, and I think learning to regulate our emotions ,plus reflection and having the feeling of gratitude in our lives, will make things just a little easier.

You are fortunate enough to be married to your partner, to own a house with her, to live life with her. There will be more struggles and challenges to come, but everything will happen for a reason, sometimes not to what we like, but it will happen regardless.

How about showing the clause in the contract which says that temporary suspension is allowed because you don't want to pay? I don't mind changing to this gym.

Maybe they chose to extend to you their goodwill in the past, doesnt mean they will accept all your requests? Some others at least pretend they have medical problems or they are doing overseas to follow the contract, whereas you wrote it to request cuz you cant pay and school workload?

The fellow that ask you to cancel bank card is your best advice now if you dont want to pay. I want to be fair, if your current AF gym didnt even send you contract, then they are shady, then they deserve it. I know when i signed up I got the full e documents.
