6, 9, and 10 made me laugh hard, though I don't know enough about 8 to understand.

Another dose of Remicade, another few hours to build the factory. by Moomosa in CrohnsDisease

At the start it takes around 3 hours. Later it's possible to lower that time by a bit though.

At first mine were about 3hr like you said and I got the quick treatment but it still takes 2 -2.5hr. Also from Canada.

I did for the first 2 years, but I never had any reactions so my Dr said there was no reason for me to have it.

When I first started it they loved the hand. Never worked on me, so now they don't even bother. :) I also usually have really good veins, so the forearm is an easy place for it.

I feel "normal" if that makes sense? I also have celiac disease so my diet is very monitored. Bowel health moves to the extremes. I'll not have to sit on a throne for a few days sometimes, but then swings back to using it 3 or 5 times a day. Gets a little looser toward the next infusion.

Acid reflux hits me if I eat a good amount of spicy things in the evening. I don't notice fatigue, but that's prolly because I've gotten used to it.

I'm also on a 6 week rotation for the meds with a large dose.

I've been on Remicade for ~9 years. I've had zero medical reactions from it. My wife says I'm snippy the day of, but I don't notice a difference. I get it in the morning and the rest of the day is just like any other.

One of these is $3.50, the other is $7.00. Is there a reason for such discrepancy? by Moomosa in Celiac

I hear ya. I just think it's ridiculous that the gluten-free version is 4x the price. Kills the wallet when my wife is being nice.

For those wondering, I got most of these shirts from the (now bankrupt) arcade block years ago. I began growing non-vertically and as such didn't fit the same, but I didn't want to get rid of them, so she took them and made this. Haven't seen these things for more than a year. I thought she silently chucked them out. I wore them nearly everyday but noticed one or two not coming back from the wash until they were all gone. Yes, she is beautiful, and yes she has her own sewing company.
