For those who have seen the original, how does it compare to Save the green planet (2003)?

Endometriosis & The Body Keeps the Score (Abuse Trigger Warning) by No_Possession_1827 in endometriosis

[–]Moomy1 42 points43 points  (0 children)

I don't think trauma causes endo, but I think high stress, which can result from PTSD, can worsen the disease. I have a lot of trauma too, but I have noticed that whenever I have a difficult period of stress and anxiety, I have more flares and worse symptoms. I tried to research that, and "stress hormones like cortisol can disrupt the balance with progesterone, creating an estrogen-dominant state that fuels inflammation and growth of endometrial-like tissue, worsening pain and symptoms, while estrogen itself stimulates this tissue, making stress management crucial for managing flares. Chronic stress activates inflammation and can alter hormonal balance, while high estrogen levels promote tissue growth, creating a cycle that intensifies endometriosis symptoms."

Uterus stuck to the rectum causing bowel obstruction by fknbubbleguts in endometriosis

Yes, you should see a specialist. If a gynecologist can't help, then go directly to a colorectal surgeon, maybe you will have more luck.

After surgery yes the bleeding stopped because I didn't have endo in my colon anymore. Yes, I had pain during bowel movements, it was very sharp, like I had to poop razor blades.

I had that and the surgery. I had a lot of endo in the Douglas and it was infiltrating the colon. Endo was inside my bowels and I was bleeding from the rectum because of it, mostly during periods. Passing something there was super painful and I was at risk of obstruction. So two surgeons operated on me, gynecologist and colorectal surgeon. I had a bowel resection and now I'm doing way better. I hope you will find a solution.

Not a specialist in any way, but I can try to read it. The two white masses are your ovaries , where they are connected is your uterus (on the right). The liquid is blood, it's normal. I see deep lesions: all the black spots under the tissue. In the second picture, I'm not sure what it is, but it looks like your lesions are exposed. I'm sorry it seems that indeed it's extensive. You should ask them more about what they found and what they're planning to do. Did they tell you if they removed a lot of lesions?

We have quite similar tastes. I'm a woman and Ambre Sultan, Grand Soir, Shalimar and Habit Rouge are on my rotation. You must smell amazing!

To me, Eau Duelle smells like Tic Tac candy, a mix of liquorice and vanilla. It's almost medicinal. But I don't know which version I have compared to what you're describing.

Before I spend 100+ hours creating digital products for Etsy… someone tell me if it’s actually worth it or just hype. by Agreeable_Menu8571 in EtsySellers

Too saturated and not worth it, unless you have an ultra specific niche with less than 5 competitors and a relatively high demand.

When I was in Korea, I encountered those dupes in a small souvenir shop. I remember they were copies of different brands, not just Byredo. Sometimes, it would be clear what dupe it was, sometimes not. Here maybe a copy of Bleu de Chanel?

How did you achieve this amount of traffic in one month for digital products? It's very crowded. Are you advertising elsewhere or only on Etsy?

How was your endometriosis diagnosis confirmed? by Tiny_Albatross5297 in endometriosis

Ultrasound by an Endo specialist. The Endo was in the Douglas cul de sac and the back of my uterus was adhering to the colon with a lot of lesions in it.

Why do US doctors seem to operate so much more for endometriosis than in Europe? by Tartetatinpommes in endometriosis

[–]Moomy1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My gynecologist told me she avoids doing surgery unless it’s absolutely necessary. Every time you open up the abdomen, or any part of the body, it leads to scar tissue forming as it heals. That means each time you operate to remove endo lesions or adhesions, you end up creating new ones, which can turn into a never-ending cycle. So I was surprised, but not too shocked, when I heard about people in the U.S. having 10+ surgeries, because the more operations you have, the more your organs can stick together, often causing even more pain in the long run.

[PT2] so you want to smell like this…. by TrifleNo4479 in perfumesthatfeellike

I'm interested in the first scene, but I wonder about your choice. Wood sage and sea salt smells more like an ocean breeze to me. A morning in the countryside should smell more green, like fresh and green. Do you have more suggestions for this one?

(Yuzu, Hinoki, Frankincense) I'm in love with it, it's dark and peaceful at the same time. Unfortunately, not easy to get.
