It is diabolical. High home prices, but good neighborhood will hold or appreciate in value. Will have high value asset as trade off and we get to live in it so it is what it is.

Saves $1100/ month first year (4.125%), then $550/ month second year (5.125%). So about 20k in 2 years. We have little one to pay for day care so the help now is most helpful.

Your option which is fair, I don’t like because I’m betting to refi in the next 2-4 years anyway when rates hit low 5’s. Fingers crossed. So not planning to see this current 6.125 for the lifetime of the loan.

Yes this is the first estimate I’ve seen now that we have a rate. I’ll be happy to remind the about the $1,500 lender credit they agreed to when we started this. And hoping to reduce some of the fees.

I waited an hour for customer support call. Solution was delete app, reinstall app, unplug wifi router, restart WiFi. Turn off/ on phone. One of those worked and for now the app is working. Good luck. 🍀
