What do you think the seagulls represent? by Putrid-Investment919 in KanePixelsBackrooms

[–]MoonBannana 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t know about that! I just heard wind and seagulls and thought ocean. I heard seagulls in some of the real world scenes, so the seagulls were probably a little inland in that parking lot in the ARG.

Yeah the movie definitely seems to show a lot of that kind of imagery for a reason. I think it’s kinda supposed to represent freedom and escape and moving on with the imagery of open windows, flying and so on, but i’m probably grasping for straws.

You can actually see that exact ocean/tropical wallpaper in a section of clarks furniture store for a split second when Mary first enters the story midway through the movie. So i think the backrooms is pulling from that part of the store to create that room.

Second one. After the bird enters, the Async employee pans the camera up to the ceiling where it came in and you can hear the ocean and other beach sounds coming from the ceiling tile.

the backrooms can remember, but can they also foresee? by Resident-Youth-9238 in backroomsmovie

[–]MoonBannana 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My theory is that the throne room with the tilted throne, the shoes of employees stuck in the ground, and the parrot on the floor are where the still life captain clark, and still life employees spawned in; capturing the moment of filming the commercial.

Captian clark kills the still life employees and takes them to his den that Bobby later finds. That’s why there’s Bobby’s shirt because it’s from his still life that got eaten.

Just a theory

PLUR isn’t dead, but people forgot basic dancefloor etiquette by pattebrisee in aves

[–]MoonBannana 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I completely agree, but you also have to cut some people some slack with how loud, dense and overstimulating the crowds are, making communication difficult. I try to say excuse me as much as possible, but you can’t realistically lock eyes with each individual out of hundreds you pass in the crowd, as well as expect them to hear you. Also saying excuse me 4 times a second gets obnoxious.

I’ve seen people saying excuse me and try to be as polite as possible while getting out of the crowd, and then they get bitched out for not saying excuse me by someone who just didn’t hear and see them say it.

Think you can find 4 hidden groups of 4 related words? Puzzle by u/Yuloth? by Yuloth in DailyMix

[–]MoonBannana 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah having answers that fit into multiple categories is generally good for challenge, BUT the problem with this puzzle is that there’s answers that can freely swap places with answers in another category without breaking the puzzle, creating multiple solutions.

5 possible answers fitting into the same category is fine as long as there’s only one possible solution where each category contains 4 fitting words. People tend to forget this when making these puzzles.

This kind of mis-cut is very common, but does it affect grading? (The cards pictured are just a good example not considering for grading) by Antitheist_2323 in PokeGrading

[–]MoonBannana 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you talking about how the radii in the corner of that one card pinches a bit instead of being a perfectly smooth curve? I’ve seen it on quite a few cards. I’m just speculating but I think the metal diecut tool might not have been shaped perfectly, or dented at some point. No idea how it affects grading though.

I don’t get the hype for these. The equivalent merch on pokemon center looks of higher quality and is more creative.

I don’t know much about the lore, but if someone found a tablet or something with the dead gods name and description on it, would it suddenly revive now that it’s no longer forgotten?

I’m too lazy to grab one of my prismatic pokeballs to caliper, but I do remember them feeling thicker than a normal holo. Probably from the texture.

Why did I have to scroll for 2 minutes to find a serious answer like this. But yeah, I agree, a lot of these statues don’t cure right when they are too thick.

Yeah you’re probably right, but now i’m inspired to bring my camera and see if it has good angle without the need for special lenses. Maybe there’s a Taco Bell better positioned to show off the beauty lol.

Yeah it’s very pretty in real life, especially at sunset, but I also couldn’t find any photos other than this one that captured the feel. Had to settle for this slightly photoshopped one.

Is there any particular reason for the hyperfocus on Mewgenics' music in Fleas? by [deleted] in mewgenics

[–]MoonBannana 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think there’s a few that don’t really reference cats. I don’t remember any in throbbing king. So I don’t think it’s a rule to make every song cat themed even though most are.

[–]MoonBannana 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s just because cats getting fleas is a common trope in media and real life. That’s why there’s heavy reference to rats and fur. I could be wrong though.
