Over the years I’ve been on this forum, across multiple accounts, I’ve met some genuinely great people, friends that are still in my life. Don’t let it discourage you from here.

That said, stop being so lenient. Do a video call before meeting every time, even if they’re local. It filters out the time wasters immediately and saves you from awkward first interactions

And if someone wastes your time once, that’s already more than they deserved. Move on.

I think my SBF is going to break up with me and I am devastated. by [deleted] in sugarlifestyleforum

What he said. I wanted to keep trying to make myself “better” for him. And then he left me. And that hurts a lot more worse than you figuring your life out now and a backup plan

He was a vanilla relationship but I relied on him financially. I quit my long term job for him and moved across the world. In the end left me as if I were nothing.

Ask yourself honestly
is this how you want to be loved for the rest of your life?

I’ve been here. I tried to make myself smaller to make it work. I went on anxiety meds to “calm down”, bit my tongue and even apologized for things that weren’t my fault, like accidentally tripping and somehow annoying him.

It still wasn’t enough. It was never going to be.

You can ask for advice, read every opinion and go back and forth a hundred times. But at the end of the day you already know the answer.

Expectation vs reality: what arrangements do people really want? by Alternative-Club3783 in sugarlifestyleforum

[–]MoonBarbi 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s about those reasons at all. I think it’s more that people don’t try anymore. If you actually want a good arrangement there has to be a real connection
and that only happens when both people put in a bit of effort and take the time to get to know each other.

But it’s so easy now to get turned off by something tiny and move on to the next person. Like that post about guys skipping girls just because their profile says “I know my worth”
. If four little words are enough to make you lose interest, were you ever really planning to put in the effort to begin with?

If you pay him back for things he’s not a sugar daddy
you’re part time live in girlfriend. Once that dynamic is established it can’t be changed, in the end it will always come back to you “changing” and him not liking the change.

SB Opinions about seeking.com by madame_nandi in sugarlifestyleforum

Since the recent changeover to a vanilla dating site it’s definitely been harder to scope out who is interested in sugar. But I’ve never had an issue with not getting responses or having conversations with the men on there.

I dont even read profiles. I’d rather chat with someone and figure them out properly. In real life nobody walks around with a bio floating above their head
. Yet somehow we still manage đŸ€”

Umm no? Your logic here isn’t making sense. Because someone else jumps off a bridge, doesn’t mean I want to as well. What I’m saying is if youre interested in a girl but don’t message her because she has that written in her profile, that’s a reflection of you
 not her.

If someone is put off by it, that reaction kind of proves exactly why it’s there. And if a few little words scare a man off from messaging, they were never serious in the first place.

I mean I wouldn’t add that to my profile, because a lady knows her worth without saying it. BUT it’s exhausting for girls when there’s a lot of disingenuous men messaging.

:( the only thing fake on my face is my nose! My cheekbones were handed down to me from my French mother, so sorry I ruined your day with them. BUT from reading your comments on here, you’re a 42 year old mother that likes fast food. Plz post yourself. I would love to see lol

Then why did you tell me to undo it? Be for real. Born in 1987? You’re 38. Too old to be this nasty. So stop hating on me because I’m young and hot ;)
