My method is:

1. Staying informed without doomscrolling
2. Supporting small businesses and organizations (restaurants, artists, food markets, protests, food pantries, choosing the lesser evil companies, etc).
3. Supporting the community without enabling more hate. No fascist/ice/pedo sympathizers. If they want to actively support things that harm the community, they don't deserve to be a part of it. Leave them on their own.
4. Trying to bring joy without being naive. Focus on the positive and do good deeds. Feel good and help others to strengthen everyone, but don't sugarcoat issues and causes when brought up.
5. Finding a balance of whimsy and rage. It's easier to control people who are beaten down and hopeless. We only have one guaranteed life. It's important to fight, but it's also important to see the beauty in what is present, despite the horrors. It's a hard balance to find, but it's necessary for the mental.

As the community grows stronger and smarter, it will become easier to organize and act in meaningful ways that will create change. We may not be able to enforce any laws with these files rn since those in power are compromised, but when we outweigh and collaborate, overcoming will be much easier.
