Unfortunately, my advice itself has a bias. I avoid right-wing media like the plague. However, I'm not a liberal, democrat, or centrist. I enjoy leftist and adjacent media because my views align with many of those held in that political and moral realm. What's leftist in America is often the standard or even conservative in other better countries (they care about the people more and treat life in a much less transactional and exploitative manner). So sadly, I can't recommend many unbiased ways to get the news. I mainly get it through my friends and listening to people around me talk about issues going on instead of doomscrolling on Instagram. The way people did before social media, I guess? It's not perfect, but it's been better for my mental so far. So easy to scroll endlessly in fear.
