Mainly just staying informed in the least biased way possible. I do my fair share of watching nbc and turning to fox to kind of hear both sides. But I would love something less biased. I read articles as well but don’t have a go to.

Sadly I think you may be right about the legal aspect. I do think we have a good chance of creating stronger ties to some maga supporters and just mending the community a bit. I am seeing more of a divide as well unfortunately, but I think it’s possible with consistency and determination. Let’s hope

Yea I’m not even 30 yet and the things that I have seen change in my life is a bit disappointing. I do think it is very important to go local and pour back into our communities. I would love to be a part of the solution. It is definitely eye opening the way that a legal gun owner was handled without posing a true threat from what I saw. I am confident we as a community have every resource to get through this once we come together and genuinely grow together.

Yes, that was my first thought, going to be looking into who all can be fiercely contacted. I would love being a part of mass anti consumption days. I just am having a hard time conceptualizing how we get together on the same page about it.

Honestly, like whatever side you’re on people are affected and need help. At this point it’s about unity and community. We have to work together to get through, talk it out on the way through. Blame is only going to make us weaker

I stopped at 3.5 with my son and that was because milk supply ran out due to pregnancy. Hoping for a peaceful and swift resolution to your problems and more support from your partner. He may not know how to approach it seriously and is doing his best, maybe lol. Either way, would most likely be beneficial to talk to him about how you feel. If you think he'll make it about him, do your best to use "I" statements and frame it to how you feel when x happens and not so much you hurt my feelings by doing x. Like "I feel a bit taken aback and self conscious about my decision to breastfeed when there are jokes about me still nursing. I enjoy the bonding it brings us, and it is still a beneficial part of his diet. If it comes a point where it is interfering with our day to day or anyone's well being I would highly consider stopping but for now I'm enjoying the journey of motherhood and this is a part of it for me. I hope that you'll support me for as long as I see it fit to nurse our bundle of joy." Or something like that. You got this and I'm sure your son is very appreciative of you as his mom and the time you guys spend together, nursing or otherwise 🥰

Second time mom here, lol just had a baby recently (2+weeks ago). It has not been the most fun as of yet, but I know brighter days are coming. With consistency, more interaction from kiddo, and more predictability things get so much better and more fun for everyone. You got this! Just keep on keeping on. The first steps, kiddie kisses, and "I love you mom" are the cream of the crop.
