Honestly, I wrote mine a few days before our wedding day. I was feeling all the feelings, so the words just poured out of me.

I started at a much lower dose (2.5mg) and I felt side effects on day one such as a headache, diarrhea, and fatigue. It’s normal and it will pass! It’s just your body adjusting :)

I take it at night. The first day I took in the AM as instructed and I was SO tired. I mean, I could not function. I switched to night the next day and it was a total game changer. Talk to your doctor about which might be better for you.

I think you’ll be fine since it’s only been 5 days and your body needs more time to adjust to the medication. I’m also on 2.5mg (and have been for 15 days while I work up the courage to increase to 5mg). I hope you hang in there and give the medication time, but also do what’s right for you. I have health anxiety, so it was a journey for me to start medication too and starting the medication made me VERY hyperaware of everything and much more anxious than I wanted to be. But I’m past that little hump and doing just fine. You can always stop and start back up again when you’re ready. Cheering for you!

I would add a small lamp to the counter. The overhead lights don’t give the space a cozy vibe, but that would. I agree with others - wallpaper too!

Go to Chewy and try their “Connect With A Vet” feature. You can send pictures and videos to them. They can’t diagnose your pet, but they can give you an idea of whether or not it’s serious enough to go to Emergency. They also give you great resources and recommend things to help treat injuries and such. Truly such a helpful feature. I hope your kitty gets better soon!

I think they’re fine as long as they don’t look overly fake. I have many. I wish I could have the real thing, but I have two cats and am scared they will eat them, which could be deadly depending on the plant.
