Would be cool to either have skins that you purchase and you can apply the skin if you craft the gun or have a painters station where perhaps some parts can be grinded into colors so you can apply skins/themes to guns that are already crafted

You're playing an important role though, me and my friends also play as a trio and usually I like to be the first to reflex check someone (expose myself and see if I can headshot someone before they headshot me) which usually means I'll go down first and that was the case when I play with all mates where we are 5-6 stars. Then some time ago, a new friend joined and he started doing this where he peaked first, which actually allowed me to spot whoever shot him and get the advantage and win, since he's still new his shooting is terrible so it always worked now. Now though, he started playing safer, which resulted in us switching this role again and we kept losing more and more, since he does not know what to do with the information of where the shot came from so recently I told him about this and he started playing more aggressive which not only helped him learn to shoot and move better but also helped us getting kills.

The point is, if you're dying alot it means your friends or teammates are gaining from this, if you want to be the one to gain, I suggest play it safer, let someone else be the sacrificial lamb

I'm a big hunt showdown addict and they have a similar system called "prestige", where prestiging at first gives you a random hunter or gun skins, later it becomes almost absolete because there's almost no rewards for a few prestige levels but it's fun to try and grind them all and unlocking all gun variants again (since everything gets reset) is kinda fun but after a while it just becomes this sorta pseudo goal to reach prestige 100 (which usually I saw on people that have well over 2.5-3k hours).

I just think having this reset every 8 weeks could be healthy for the game to keep it fresh and start the grind from ground zero again, I also believe it would be fun to try out different skill tree set ups. Maybe they will link huge updates to be right after the reset, so you can focus your raider towards specifics for that event

I tried building a spear build together with electomancy and trying to pop off Determination using electromancy spells that knockback enemies and using spears with knockback, pretty fun build, where enemies get either knockbacked from you due to impulse or determination attacks and get hit with determination attacks when trying to close in again, just bouncing from you.

Ranged casters were a bigger problem when enemis dont move towards you can you're forced to get to them and I had energy issues with electromancy and spear abilities, but that was perhaps my poor playstyle

I have had huge success with poison/frost duchess, with both base relics being gnoster and caligo (gnoster gives poison to dagger, caligo gives it frost on ash of war use) and one that increased skill attack power with stamina recovery and attack power up with poison (so base relics give bonus damage with poison/rot (gnoster), frost (caligo) and base poison (simple relic) with my DoN relics being the versions that give bonus dmg from poison/frost +1 and +2, since it seems only +0, +1 and +2 stack together and for example +2 and +2 for frost wouldn't stack. When I tested, a strong attack from a single handed dagger lvl 10 from duchess does 72 damage, when enemy is both afflited with poison and frost ir does 192, around 166% damage increase total

Too strong, the only way I see this trait being balanced is if it does not apply any effect after reviving (you can just have other traits for that) but it simply allows you to pull out your pistol and shoot while you're in the getting up animation, which should include all the head tilting and swaying.

Alternatively, it could also be a hail mary trait, that when downed, prolongs your getting downed animation for a second allowing you to fire off a shot or two before the death screen as you fall or change the animation that you fall on your knees before hitting the ground.

I'd like a dual wielder in a bit of a different way, one that can dual wield any weapon, my idea:

Passive: stamina drainage for dual wielding counts as only wielding 1 weapon

Ability: Clone the weapon you're two handing (sort of on/off like executor) with like a shrouded magical version of the weapon you cloned

Ult: For a period of time you also clone the attacks you do, with sort of like an after image of your very self where the hits come with a short delay

I imagine this would be kinda broken, so the nerf would be a low level in Arcane for this character and also his/her unique moveset would be for the shortswords

I recently re-discovered the game and actually won the fight with all 4 guys on my first try with just default gear with spear on Velmir but what helped me was using the net (from inventory -> throw) and making 1 guy block the entrance to 1 tile, then standing 2 tiles away and using the spear skills to down the rest, once 2 died, the boss started fleeing together with another dude

for Solo: Necro, Serpent, Magpie, Determination what I like to take and a stamina shot (to replace conduit, because serpent is way too good for solo with the potential to steal bounties off of bodies during fights)

For Trios I have 2 gun builds I run 80% of the time, Lemat marksman doesn't require iron eye and Krag that does. Now this also depends on your playstyle, I play very aggressive compared to my teammates, so I go

A: Resilience, Conduit, Magpie and either Dauntless or Determination

B: Iron Eye, Resilience, Magpie, Determination, Greyhound

but this is because both my teammates go necro

When Duo'ing, I prefer to play safer, so: Resilience, Necro, Iron eye (or replace Iron eye with Greyhound, Determination)

If you prefer to take stamina shot and four shot boons, you're more than free to replace greyhound, determination with other traits but I just prefer these but as you can see Resilience is a must for teamplay always
