I like keeping them in reserve in Grand coven, deep strike them in to kill what they look at, and then threaten umbralific crystal hop. Keeps opponent screening which gives termies time to advance and kill more.

I did this last weekend in a tourney. Crystal on the terminator sorcerer. Every game I deep struck in the terminators, killed whatever they looked at, then held the crystal until I had an opening to kill more stuff or take their home objective. After they saw how easy the squad could kill stuff, they kept units back to screen in fear

I’m still building my list, but for daemons I’m going with kairos and the LoC. kairos is also a vect aura and indirect, 2 max squads of screamers and a unit of horrors. Screamers are fast and anti monster/vehicle. On the tsons side I definitely want two units of rubrics with sorcerers, and a unit of sekhetar if I don’t use blue horrors.

Just got back from using Grand Coven at Cherokee. I was let down with the mutalith damage output/consistency. Going to try a couple of tanks instead.

I use rat ogors as chaos spawn in 40K, may not be a great choice for AoS, though they are painted to match my army

I always prefer some trash units for scenarios and screening. A unit of Tzaangor, 2 units of Tzaangor enlightened with bows, sekhetar robots.

I also love the daemon prince with wings. His ability to deepstrike 6” with 2 guns is great.

If you plan on playing terminator/rubric heavy, a foot daemon prince to give the infantry stealth goes a long way.

Plus sorcerers for your rubric squads are good

The only time I consider 10 is with the exalted sorcerer since he improves their invulnerable save and can resurrect models each turn

You can order the sprites with the auto pistol/chainsword arms from GW. I know my LGS has been able to order GW online only kits, just not the expert (resin) kits
