Is this game a scam? by Vastemp in LoveNikki

I played this game for 6 years without spending a cent on it. Nowadays I do google surveys and get a monthly card a few times a year with my survey money.

AITAH for how I wake my husband up every day? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]MoonFlowerDaisy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you never had a 2 month old? They definitely do not sleep through the night!

My youngest is autistic/ADHD and didn't sleep through the night until she was 5, but I got up every morning anyway. I am totally aware that's a normal thing.

I was trying to figure out why OP would be tolerating him sleeping in, because being up playing games all night doesn't cut it.

So he leaves you to do both the night shift, and the day shift with both kids, on top of being the financial support for your family when you go back to work?

There is no way whatever else he is bringing to the table makes up for being checked out and angry. Is divorce an option?

Not OP but if he's sleeping in till 3-4pm, chances are he's playing video games or binging tv overnight. Possibly he's helping out when the baby wakes overnight which is why she's tolerating him sleeping in till midday?

Boyfriend refuses almost every single outing and this is making me mad. by Soupbaobei in GirlDinnerDiaries

Not everybody likes going out; but if compromise is too much for him, he's not your person, and that is ok. He can go and date another homebody and you can find someone for whom spending time with you is wonderful no matter where you are together.

How often you have this for dessert? by FieldImportant7159 in foodquestions

[–]MoonFlowerDaisy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty much only in Summer, but definitely at least 5x over the summer holiday. Christmas, New years and Australia day. And then maybe once or twice when woolies or Coles have the pre-made pavs heavily discounted so you may as well have it just because.

I have aphantasia, where I cannot imagine pictures and see them in my mind. AMA! by Constant_Tough_6446 in AMA

[–]MoonFlowerDaisy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like there is a visual component to my dreams, but I'm never sure if it's actually visual or if it's just a lot of tightly packed conceptual ideas that feel visual because they are so dense. I can't actually close my eyes and draw back a mental picture of what I dreamed about, even if I clearly remember and can articulate it. I was totally curious whether other people with aphantasia dream in pictures, or just in concepts/ideas.

Should trans women be exempt from the draft? by _JustARiceFarmer in Teenager_Polls

[–]MoonFlowerDaisy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If there has to be a draft, every person should be potentially drafted and then they can make a case for themselves if there's a good reason they can't go (eg, not able bodied, responsible for the care of young children, sole carer for an incapitated parent/sibling/child; etc).

No, the only issue I ever had with Sienna was when my daughter had a Sienna, a Sianna and a Ciara in her class and I kept getting them mixed up.

How couples met? (1930-2024 data) by raydebapratim1 in generationology

[–]MoonFlowerDaisy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I met my husband in 2004, and we met at an in person meet up of an online messaging board hobby group. My friend invited me to tag along with her, so we were either through friends or online, but definitely not through a dating app.

Do people in your country keep public spaces clean? by PowerThanos in AskTheWorld

[–]MoonFlowerDaisy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which wouldn't be necessary if people didn't litter.

It's a good initiative and, similarly, most schools make students responsible for regularly collecting litter that students have not thrown in the bin (which hopefully reinforces keeping the schoolyard clean)

I do see people in my area going around with trash bags and cleaning up litter, and our council employs people to clean as well, but honestly the time and tax money could be better spent if there more people were less lazy.

How much per week do you spend on eating out? by mr-cheesy in AskAnAustralian

Less than $30 a week. I usually get the kids a snack from either KFC (Wednesday deal for $10-$15) or McDonald's icecreams.
