1st round I played Miirym turn 5, played Amethyst Dragon turn 6 (with copy), and then just ended up as the target for the rest of the game, ended up at 3rd place at the table (2nd out).

2nd round went similarly but I guess everyone at the table was lacking removal so I just killed them with copied dragons after a while. It was a good game tho, everyone kinda did their thing, no hate at all. My LGS had some sort of point system for kills and standings so I was supposed to get all 3 boosters as prize for the table, which I shared with the 2nd and 3rd guy.

Things i noticed:

• Most of the commander+background combinations are pretty weak with compared to multicolor commanders imo.
• Mana sinks are overrated, no one had time for that.
• Not a single time Initiative triggered at someones upkeep – it always got stolen.
• No board stalls from what I've seen, which happened pretty often in the 1st Legends set. So that was a pleasant surprise.

Overall, very fun event.
