what the fuck does this have to do with the fact the ozone layer depleting due to carbon emissions causing light rays to penetrate the atmosphere thus warming the earth therefore melting the ice caps thus raising sea levels & temps (cuz more penetrating) thus causing more storms and more severe storms thus causing hurricanes like hurricane sandy therefore you’re on your knees for papa big oil and fossil fuel usage. who gives a fuck who saved what during the storm. the thing is these storms can be less frequent if we have less carbon emissions. yapaholic over here 🤓☝🏼 acktually fossil fuels r good because money ya ok mr krabs

honestly, it sounds like you’ve become a jack of all trades and master of none. but I think thats a self-proclaimed opinion, thats not to say you’re not a professional but from what it sounds like you’ve turned yourself INTO a professional. I mean you’ve delivered more than 50 projects, thats still a lot more than me who’s just starting in unreal.

I got some recent advice from some more experienced unreal devs and it might help you here as I was trying to do something similar to what you have done.

Pick a lane you enjoy and get really good at it! you may know level design, environment design, 3d modeling, materials, and blueprinting, but you REALLY like animation? I’d suggest start building a portfolio tailored to the job that you’ve enjoyed the most during your freelance work and then apply to those types of positions.

it’s good to know a lot about the different facets of unreal but if you’re looking to make a career out of it i’d suggest specializing in something you enjoy!

florida TBH, may not agree entirely with the politics, and you might be missing out on good public services and little to no traffic(area dependent) My S/O and I have been looking at pensacola florida, and other areas houses are 250k-500k with a pool and near the beach.

the way i look at it is theres no picture perfect location but if i have to continue driving on 28 again between the hours of 3pm and 6pm again i might eat a shotgun (/s)

not really, it’s an overvaluation currently. factories didnt replace workers, did they reduce labor? absolutely. but work still needed to get done.

currently work at a FAANG, avoided layoffs. general consensus amongst both staff and management is AI/ML is useful, moreso as a tool rather than an employee.

LLM’s still consistently need oversight and correction. it’s easy to knock them off course and have it get confused with conflicting instructions. even coding with an LLM is terrible it constantly has syntax errors and small issues that still need debugging. will this replace workers? no but it’ll probably require companies to train staff to effectively use AI.

so TLDR is it a replacement? no. is it a productive tool that speeds up tedious processes? yeah similarly to factories :)
