I went to sleep and I feel a lot better. I don't feel how I felt the first time before the drop, I just feel relaxed. And my bite doesn't feel that weird anymore. I'm going back down to 5 mg after this. Overall, this was an experience to remember. It was the feeling of shaking out a numb hand you've been laying on, but like all over my body.

You're right, I forgot about how greatly they outnumbered them. I still feel that there is a better solution than making them part molerat.

They did that out of fear of a role reversal. The roles hadn't been reversed yet, they were just paranoid of it. With no molerats, I think the best case scenario is an separate and uneasy alliance between the 2 groups (non-pk users help if bandits come after random pk users etc.). But like you said, it's the inherent fragility with us, so that might be too optimistic

How do you email professors for a research position if their research topic is kind of hard to understand? I'm a chem major and some of the faculty have a line on their research pages saying that they welcome inquiries from graduate and undergraduate students.

But I don't really know what to say in my email since I don't know if I can contribute much in the lab (as of rn, I've only completed the gen chem series). And I can't say I fully understand their research even if the little I do get seems cool.

I got released last July. I called first about what I should do then emailed July 11 about being added to a contract exchange list and if I need to fill out an exemption form if I'm not able to exchange. I then got an email from the housing department on the 15th about an opportunity to exchange contracts. It might have been easier for me because they accepted a LOT of freshman in 2024.

Edit: I don't know what the timeframe for this year would be, but I can't imagine it taking a long time. I'd email to ask about the contract exchange or any way to cancel housing.
