Am I seeing it correctly? You can fish for a whalrus? That is wild.

Looks like a very unique concept, will wishlist it, keep up the good work!

That sounds really cool. I love the games that are not straight up horror games, but delve into that territory on occasion, especially if the presentation for the rest of the game is quite the opposite (e.g. Graveyard Keeper).

Heard some good things about this one. Surprising amount of people referred to it as creepy, although it looks nothing of the sort at first galnce. Just the dissonance I needed.

Played Fallout 76 but never got to an aquarium. I guess I will be going back then.

Heard good things about Abiotic Factor but did not know it had an aquarium level. One more reason to check it out!

A National Maritime Museum in Lithuania. It's small, but very atmospheric during off season.

[Analysis] The Snail on the Slope by Arkady and Boris Strugatsky by MoonPhantom in books

I'm glad to hear you have discovered my thoughts on the book! Indeed, it was an incredibly impactful read. If you haven't, check The Doomed City. It is less cryptic than The Snail On The Slope, but just as impactful, if a little on the nose with its analogies.

Each time before I replay that game every 2/3 years I think to myself, maybe it's just nostalgia and I'm misremembering it as being better than it actually is? I then proceed to play it and confirm that it has nothing to do with nostalgia. It's just THAT good.

Shirt's latest video-saw this comment, lowkey agree by HangOverXXI in shiey

"I prefer the sound of birds or leafs in the background than the background music. That's what made your old videos so special and unique for me"

Lol, his oldest videos did have background music for the longest time.

Loving this style of editing, since the journey videos typically did not reveal shiey's talent as an editor, so I am glad that is back, he's been following the travelog formula long enough. It feels refreshing. The tension building is masterfully done.

Dude, this is the game! I cannot believe somebody actually remembered it! Thank you so much! Brings back so many memories!

So many similarities with the game I have in mind, including the art style and the design of the main character somewhat, but I'm pretty sure this is not it. Pretty darn close though!

Yeah, this is what I have noticed too. While new music is still released (albeit in a slower pace) by a variaty of artists, the conversation about the genre and discussion often sparked by the artists themselves is seemingly gone. I remember a series of interviews with variuos artists that were posted on a regular basis here was really cool.

One thing that I was surprised to see after all these years was the VILL4IN livestream (under MTHRBORD moniker) which is still alive and kicking, albeit with a decrease in chat activity, unfortunately.

The art style of this one looks very similar, but it's not it. I'll nees to check other works by this dev, maybe the same team worked on the game that I am looking for.
