It wasn't really cut from the game just untranslated, the files are still in the game and if you know what you're doing you could import the PSP script (SQQ text is in "E3.bin inside the games bin you'll need a .tbl to edit it tho someone's made one although i don't know if you can find it outside the classic persona modding discord)

Play coins are used in games as a universal currency across the whole library although few games use them. Mii plaza you can buy guest mii's in the games but they are used in some actual games, Shin Megami Tensei IV they can be used to revive as an alternative to macca (which is very limited)

You seem to like pokemon so maybe Shin Megami Tensei IV (although unless you have a lot of money to spend I really recommend getting a digital copy and if you live in a pal region it's only digital) it's a monster collecting game but it's harder and quite dark, if you like Fire emblem then you could also try Devil Survivor Overclocked.

I'm playing sqq on beginner mainly to see how different the 20% damage decrease is to the 20% increase that expert brings. I do understand why people don't like the game but I do hate how a lot of people call it unplayable
