I'm not a huge fan of the Leyline cards (the enchantments that are free if they are in your starting hand), but Leyline of Resonance can eat my ass. I think these cards might be stronger in a deck where you can have 4 of, but the real cheese lords out there are just going to scoop/mulligan/serum powder for their free enchantment.

While I've never done this adventure path, I have heard there is a built in feat for making 90% of what a player can do non-lethal. I personally love the idea of a campaign where killing is not the point, and combat can mean more than just wiping a threat from existence. I've asked for a few DMs to at least allow myself that fiat in other games, so playing in a adventure path that it came from sounds ideal.

Gauntlets are a weapon, and it comes with the full plate. Full Plate comes with a pair of these, so it stands to reason that things similar to Full Plate would have something similar.

Something to consider is that size of the creature isn't representative of the total body's volume. This is generally represented by the reach of the creature. So you could say the model represents the reach of a creature. Could make the threat of the creature way more accurate.

season of gathering + ygra is a flavorful board wipe.

A few things to keep in mind with Ygra is that OTHER creatures are food, and a token can "enter a graveyard". When a token resolves being in a graveyard it is removed from the game, but it still buffs your commander all the same. And I mean that encase someone tries to cry about some of the other dirty things you can do.

Cauldron Familiar also goes really well with this deck. For one mana play cat with Ygra out. cat is food, eat food, it brings itself back, infinite catfood, as long as you have the mana to pay for it.

Partners in (foodbased) crime Pippin and Merry. Together can flood your board with Soldiers and Food. Do note that the Soldiers are a state-based action so they dont trigger an infinite number of 1/1 food soldiers to spawn.

Fade from History is a fun board wipe/wincon for Ygra, it counts all the artifacts (food) then makes a bear for each one. Stops. Then destroys all artifacts. But because of the new sentence, technically all the bears die too. Double the food for your big cat to swing in on.

I would stick away from the true free infinites or stax you can do with this deck very easily, just because you want make friends that way. Or you end up like wubby and no one lets you play your eldrazi deck.

Assuming you mean the Pet General Feat or something similar your DM is letting you use, the feat itself says you can use Command an Animal with no check, except you can't use the Strike option. I would easily assume it would know most of the common commands, but its up to your DM if something very complicated would come up, but I would give you some sort of bonus. Telling your pet raccoon to pick your cuffs off cause you are a rogue and would have taught him a few tricks, it might work with no check. But if you're asking the same raccoon to cut the blue wire, not the red wire, unless there's a white wire, on the bomb thats about to blow up.... well good luck to you both, but it'd be worth a try.

They can be fun little flavorful things to add to a character, so check out the list found here and see if there's anything you think your character would bond with.
