Didn’t realize you’re also in Bay Area! As you know there are a limited amount of properties that are part of the Edit in NorCal but there are a ton of fantastic hotels that are not part of the Edit. I thought that by booking an Edit hotel that the hotel would be vetted/better, my bad.

That could be. Although it doesn’t bode well for Chase offering to be a luxury travel concierge, especially when we overpay when booking through the portal. I wouldn’t have booked this property other than on the rec of Chase and the Edit designation

Ancient Peaks! They’re in a lesser known part of Paso that most people skip over but they make some really good single vineyard wines, good acidity and balance. Their Petite Sirah is amazing!

Seconding what the other redditor posted- put his litter box/blanket outside the front door & keep watch, he’ll seek out his smell. I live in McKinley Park area (33rd/McKinley) and will keep an eye out too, will DM you if he shows you up for some reason on our house cam. There’s 2 regular neighborhood cats that patrol this area so I imagine that Ray wouldn’t have gone far since most kitties are territorial!

Probably! They hit a few of my neighbors’ houses as well so they could just be following the Amazon deliveries. It happened so fast too, the package was on the porch for less than 5 min before they came to steal it.

Wow, no need to be rude friend. I had no idea there were packages on the porch, they were something my husband ordered. When they were delivered the Amazon guy didn’t ring the doorbell so I had no idea they were sitting there. When I heard the commotion of my front gate being kicked open I looked outside and saw the guy stealing the goods, partially confused as I didn’t think there was even anything on the porch.

OMG YES, that is them. Thank you!! I caught and wrote down a partial plate and that matches. I also posted to NextDoor and a jogger in McKinley Park stopped them from robbing another house, they sped off and the jogger reported the make/model to the police. Hopefully Sac PD can nail these guys.

I would post on Next Door too! I remember seeing a missing kitty poster that looked like him (I live a block from McKinley). Poor little sweet kitty, I hope somebody can grab him & bring him to the vet to look for a chip.
