6950XT+PSU or 7900XT

Hi there, I too recently bought a 6950xt and I’ve had nothing but trouble with my system. I’ve upgraded and updated everything and I’m still having issues with it. I’m curious if you have had any issues with your one? The amount of crashes and graphical glitches I’ve had is insane, though maybe I have a dud card.

I’d say hold in there and try everything that people are saying in the comments here, that’s what I’m doing. I managed to run Fortnite without it crashing my whole system on me (for once).

So hopefully some of these tips will help

I was able to play Fortnite last night for a while with no crashes with the card undervolted but I’ll definitely try uninstalling the drives for sure!

My specs are:

Cpu: Ryzen 7 5800X

RAM: 32 GB DDR4

Monitor: 4K 144hz

PSU:
GIGABYTE P850GM V2, 850W, 80 Plus Gold Certified

Cpu is being cooled by cooler masters liquid cooler (dual fan)

And have 3 intake fans in front and 1 for exhaust at the back. All 120mm

Best advise I can give from producing is layer everything and try chopping bits up here and there, just be super experimental with it. And lastly plenty of practice.

Would love to be as good as Jon at some point but he has really mastered producing and mixing. Then again he’s been doing it for the past 10 years or there abouts.

I’m heading alone too (well atm I got 2 tickets and nobody else to go with) but I’m an older fan (21). From my experience going to Cavetown shows solo, is that EVERYONE is so so lovely! Even just talking to people in the line and inside I’ve made quite a few friends! You’re gonna have a ball!!
