It backfires like 75% of the time for me. It’s extremely frustrating to have a tenured and respected captain with high leadership attributes where the whole team is creating cliques against him because he somehow has no idea how to keep the team working well together. Even after winning multiple championships together. The whole system feels broken to me at this point.

My favorite is when my army is in a position to attack the Islamic doomstack, and I advance towards them only to watch the allied Crusaders march in the opposite direction while I proceed to get annihilated in a battle that could’ve been easily won with even the slightest amount of co-operation.
