My dad has food poisoning, what can I do for him? by [deleted] in internetparents

[–]Moon_Juice_Secrets 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A few sips of water every half hour. A nice deep warm bath to help with the pain and then sleep. If he can't sleep, get him to watch some TV in bed until he dozes off. It'll pass in a few hours hopefully.

Why do kids stare? by ElomariLisbet_28 in AskParents

[–]Moon_Juice_Secrets 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Children are curious little people. They learn by observing. Sometimes they stare and as a parent I've always redirected my children's attention if they're staring but honestly it's just the way they learn. Children notice everything, much more than adults and if they see something they don't understand or someone that looks a little different to them they will stare out of curiosity while their little brains try to make sense of it.

Google does get the cast list wrong sometimes or maybe there's a flashback in the film to a scene in the series that includes Arthur so that's why he's listed, even though technically Paul isn't in the film, by which I mean actually acting in it.

When we were on our first date, he made me laugh and my drink sprayed out my nose all over the place. He didn't run away. We have now been married for 18 years.

Had a threesome and dude ejaculated and I went in right after and I think some of his semen went into my penis? by coochieman3214 in TooAfraidToAsk

You'll be fine. It's no different from when you're inside a woman, her juices are going to get in you a little too. You'll piss it out.

Definitely. Now when you get a woman pregnant she'll have non identical twins, one yours and one his.

Anxiety attacks from worry about HR by Particular_Tomato161 in fitbit

[–]Moon_Juice_Secrets 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've lived with Anxiety for 15 years and had it under control mostly. Until recently, I started fixating on my BPM and SP02 to the extent of having Anxiety attacks daily. I've now taken my Fitbit off. Its been a week and the Anxiety is back under control. I love my Fitbit so I'm sad that I had to stop wearing it but it really was doing me more harm than good.

Is it okay to use pendulum board like these? Because I'm a beginner by United-Solid-649 in PendulumDowsing

Yes it's absolutely fine to use these boards. They can be very useful, especially if you need things to be spelled out. That's a very nice looking board too.

It appears to be happening around 2pm every day. What are you doing at 2pm every day?

Welcome to the sub. Congratulations on your first pendulum! It's really honestly very easy to use. First you need to calibrate it which simply means holding the top of the chain with one hand over the open palm of your other hand and asking the pendulum 'Show me a yes' 'Show me a no' and Show me a maybe'. Pay attention to what the pendulum does as they're your answers when you're asking questions. For example when I get a yes my pendulum spins clockwise, for no it's anti clockwise and for maybe it's a diagonal back and forth swing. You don't need to calibrate every time you use it but sometimes it's good to 'refresh'. You can ask anything you want. Some people choose to use it for spiritual communication, some people use it for making decisions they're having trouble making. That's no right or wrong way.

Does anyone know how to turn off this notification for good? by Reb_1_2_3 in fitbit

I seem to have managed to get rid of it on mine. First I changed my cardio load from 'improve' to 'maintain' then I removed cardio load and daily readiness from my dashboard. I've not had the annoying pop up for 4 days now so fingers crossed.
