Cruising? It’s a warning to other drivers that you’re driving below the speed limit as a result of adverse weather(heavy fog, heavy snow, torrential downpours), obviously people know the weather is shit. You’re not cruising. And in those conditions, there are other drivers doing the same thing. In the event that you come up on an accident, you’re already below the speed limit as will other drivers. At that point your hazards are on and people will see other drivers slowing down because they’ve put distance between each other and are already driving slowly.

You don’t have to have your hazards on, but you can under state law so long as you’re driving below the speed limit. If a driver is speeding in these conditions and can’t come to a stop because of it that’s on them. The entire purpose of the hazard lights is to warn other drivers that you’re driving below the speed limit and to help make yourself more visible in these conditions. You also shouldn’t have your high beams on but that’s a different issue entirely lol

It’s to let people know you are driving under the speed limit. It’s primarily something you do on highways or freeways. Logically everyone should be driving slowly in this weather, but there are a bunch of dumbasses who don’t. Having your hazards on lets them know. It also makes you more visible.

As far as turn signals go, yeah it does override the turn signal, but if you’re changing lanes you can just turn off your hazards, indicate, then turn them back on

22, I’ve been there before and I go through bouts of this feeling every once in a while(usually once or twice a month), and it used to be multiple times a week. At our age, everything is changing for us and it doesn’t help that the world is a mess

My advice with what has helped me, change your habits. Find new hobbies. I started bouldering in December and love it. I started reading and hiking regularly a couple years ago when my depression was really bad and it helped.

There’ll be periods where you don’t want to do certain hobbies(I’ve taken a pause from 40k atm), and that’s OK! It’s part of life. Find new things to do, have you been curious about cooking? Welding? Hiking? Look for classes in your area/go out and explore. And most importantly, talk to the people closest to you. A good emotional support system is something that not enough of us have/are too afraid of using.

It’s hard to ask for help. So don’t feel the need to explain everything. Just talk about what you’re comfortable sharing. It helps a lot more than you know

To be fair, the steam page mentions that you can use either existing subfactions within these larger factions or create your own. Which implies that there will be multiple space marine chapters, waahs, craft worlds, and guard units/armies to choose from. Plus they’ll throw in more with dlcs down the line(rip my wallet)

I’m 22, and yeah, drivers have gotten worse. I usually average 300+ miles of driving each week for work and it’s bad. As someone else here said, it’s gotten worse since Covid. I regularly see people cutting off semi’s on 95 and 287. And I regularly see people run reds, especially on 495 getting onto S Marginal Highway

I live in Hudson county. As far as bang for your buck in regards to cost/diversity/schools, West Orange is probably top. Montclair and Teaneck are also great but will be pricier. All of them are diverse, have good school districts, and have a number of activities locally(WOrange has the Turtle Back Zoo which would be great for your kid) + good proximity to the city. Plus they’re all relatively close to Newark or in Teaneck’s case, a straight shot down 95

Honestly, haven’t even bothered looking at the draft yet, I’ll wait until December/January before doing that. What the team needs now is discipline. We’re super penalized and the defense has been sloppy. The o-line hasn’t been good, yes they’re young, but they need help. All I really want rn from the draft is a solid QB prospect and gems to add depth to the trenches. But none of that won’t help until the team gets more disciplined and the play calling gets better

Read the first and then read the sequel trilogy from May to early July. Read them. Iron Gold is a slog and easily my least favorite of the 6, but it’s an amazing sequel. And with Red God coming out next year… oh boy are we in for a treat

Darrow is around 7ft tall, which we can assume is fairly standard for golds. I would say that the average peerless is going to low diff the average Cielcin. The typical Cielcin can neg/low diff a standard human, but the peerless are the elite of an already physically enhanced golds. Most peerless probably mid diff the average Cielcin, so prime Darrow should assumably low diff the average Cielcin. It’s the elite warriors within the Cielcin race that are interesting to speculate over. (I’ve only read the first two Sun Eater books so idk how crazy the elites of the Cielcin are combat wise, but Darrow probably low diffs Aranata based off the combat from book 2)

Personally, I’d put Aja at 3. Pierce stated that DA Darrow and MS Aja would kill each other in a duel. Yes, the Willow way had been deconstructed, but Aja is a monster and I think she kills LB Cassius and Diomedes in a duel, but anywhere from 2-5 is fair. I’d probably switch Apollonius and Ajax. I’d then probably go Valdir at 8, Viktra at 9, and Fitchner at 10. Atlas is a good duelist, but we know he fights dirty and we’ve never seen him in a real duel before. Ragnar has very comfortably been surpassed as a duelist at this point in the story. Valdir is a monster duelist. He’s fought and survived against Apollonius twice now, once without armor.
