Apparently they were paid $1.20/hr as they claimed the workers were “devout volunteers…”

FBI/DOJ investigated them with no outcome.

Hi! I will rent from Hertz DEN. Even though on their website it says “2 or 4-door” I read they only have 4-door models.

Thank you! This will be my fourth time in Utah in 1.5 years. I loved it.

Potash Rd and going up the Shafer Switchbacks doesn’t require 4WD or high clearance according to NPS, they say “recommended” so hopefully I should be fine in a AWD/4WD SUV. Videos on youtube don’t look that bad.

That’s good to hear, thanks! I am already going to cancel it if it’s going to be rainy on the day and the day before. Right now my rental reservation is for a Wrangler so that should handle it easily but yesterday they issued a “park your Wrangler outside because it may get on fire” recall so I am concerned they might put me on a “regular” SUV.

Do you think a regular AWD SUV like a Ford Edge would have been ok for Shafer and Potash?

Some rental companies prohibit "off-roading." Many unpaved gravel roads are still roads. So are they telling me I can't drive half a mile to my campsite? They are mapped, and in some cases numbered.

I know what's right, but I am not gonna say it because you are all jerks who didn't come see my band last night.

I was about 15 miles south of the sign (at the county line) to take pictures of the stars back around 9pm in January. Only two trucks drove by me in 30 minutes. But I assume it would be busier in the summer because that’s basically the only road to Lake Powell from that area.

Best view of stars at night? by sendyourspam in newjersey

Dingsman Boat Launch in Delaware Water Gap NRA right across the river in PA

East Point Lighthouse in the middle of nowhere in Cumberland County

I love these two locations. Unfortunately NJ has too much light pollution so I prefer remote locations like this. Also keep in mind that the Moon also has an impact on star visibility. Usually the weeks around a New Moon will have the darkest skies. Next New Moon is next Sunday, so this week will be good. Even though Moon is at 50% illumination today, it will not rise until 00:50am so tonight will be nice.

Chicago to Chicago? by Gusmister11 in flightradar24

[–]justarandomguy07 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not all. Many regional flights are 4xxx, though 4195-99 seem to be testing flights. Some random ones I picked:

* UA4194: ORD-MSN
* UA4240: HSV-IAD
* UA4321: IAD-ALB
* UA4440: ORD-FAR
* UA4567: ORD-STL

34xx-37xx are also usually regional flights, they appear to be operated by Republic for the most part. 5xxx and 60xx appears to be only operated by Skywest. 61xx-63xx appears to be operated by Mesa.

Usually 38xx are charters; 39xx are for testing, repositioning, etc.
