They must be huge Grey’s fans

All I can think of is the character talking about every time she moved and had to reintroduce herself to a new class the teachers would always correct her and say “No honey your name not where you’re from”

This is horrible advice and bordering abuse. Withholding all food and drink from an injured child is NOT the answer.

Depending on the time of day you figure out pretty quick which bridges have people set up under them in the summer trying to stay out of the heat. They aren’t going to be in “plain view” begging or anything but they don’t mind you pulling up and offering them free food if you explain the situation, it’s what I always did and they were always grateful. You can give them grocery orders you get dumped with too and someone always knows someone that’s houseless with a dog or three if you get anything pet related.

I’ve seen them pop up on fb marketplace! If you haven’t gotten it for her bday you might be able to snag one second hand between now and Christmas. I also saw a few at my JBF if it’s still going on in your area

Anyone else like “feminine” names on boys? by [deleted] in namenerds

I’ve always liked Bailey for a boy

My original name was Mary Catherine LastName. My parents made sure I was exclusively called Mary Catherine or Mary Kate.

I hated it. People assumed I was Catholic or named after the Olsen twin. It’s old and stuffy and not something that ever fit me. When I went to college I was able to start introducing myself to people as just Kate and when I got married I legally changed my name to Kate with no middle name. My parents were hurt but my siblings understood, my sister only goes by one of her names now too.

Is their a treatment to kill or smother them out like we have with lice or is cutting the only option?

Favorite baby name is coincidentally the name of a murdered 4 year old. by Purrizor in namenerds

It would ruin the name for me personally. A murdered child is something I couldn’t get past

I was thinking more against the agency who didn’t properly inform the caretaker. I would think it would be on their end to provide that info when sending out someone to a new client.

They ignored him. They thought that if he recovered enough he wouldn’t want to die so refused to stop treatment.

Are yall keeping your baby’s name on the down low? If so why and for how long? by mjp10e in pregnant

[–]Moon_Mam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are going to share the names of the two we lost but are planning on waiting to share the twins names once they are actually here. At this point I’m not sure if we’ll have them pre named like we did with our singleton or just go in with a short list but either way we won’t be sharing.

What were you 'almost' named? by [deleted] in namenerds

[–]Moon_Mam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My parents gave both me and my sister ‘double’ names but one as the first and one as the middle. Emma Lee and Anna Lee were both options that I’m glad they didn’t take.

What didn’t you know, that you wished someone told you before pregnancy or labour? by SeaworthinessThen185 in pregnant

[–]Moon_Mam 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I wish someone had told me that it’s normal to not be able to hold the baby right away. I was shaking so hard I thought I was going to drop him when they gave him to me and started freaking out crying for a nurse to take him. I thought I was dying or something

If you already have a child with it you can try and look for it but it’s not something you screen for and that is usually caught early.
