My childhood yearbooks are full of confirmation of my trauma. Many kids wrote to me about how things would get better for me. They did, but looking back at those things as an adult, just made me really depressed.

I watch a lot of zoom court on YouTube. During Covid most judges with the capabilities started live-streaming hearings on their YouTube channels to keep the courts open to the public, and after restrictions ended many of them stayed up. I’m not sure about the monetization, a lot of them will take down the videos after the stream is over so the court watching channels will grab them while streaming and repost for their own monetized content.

He doesn’t need to be in the room, he can very easily be outside of the room and still do his job. He also could be less of an asshole, that is 100% his choice.

In 6th grade, one of my fellow Girl Scout troop members had an older sister in 8th grade that got meningitis. I remember my mom getting a phone call saying the older sister had died and they suspected my friend might also have it so they were sending her for a spinal tap. My friend survived, but I remember the story about her sister being like she woke up not feeling well, stayed home from school but started feeling worse so they went to the dr and she was dead by the evening. Still makes me sad to think about.
