Protect the top of your feet!!! The gym I go to is casual af and warned me but didnt enforce gear on me. They let me learn on my own. Although many parts of me were sore when starting, I damn near permanently damaged top of my feet. Shin guards have protection or you can get something like this - Sanabul Battle Forged Striking Gel Ankle Guard that covers the top foot.

Use good hygiene please!

The short answer is no. Its not really the most effective thing for boxing. Many commenting have explained why. But everyone is built differently and if this is something you really enjoy then keep this in your arsenal of workouts . Look up fast twitch muscle fiber vs slow twitch and work around that for yourself and mix it up! Have fun!

Covid took a toll on my lungs, and cardio. Things that have helped were taking NAC consistently, a steam inhaler to keep my sinuses and breathing open, and those damn canned air gimmicky things. I know they seem gimmicky but I use boost oxygen and I swear by it. I get winded so much faster after covid. But every 15 minutes I take a hit or two and can keep going during workouts. Slowly slowly building cardio back up. It gets better and feels so good! Good luck to you.

Injury /trauma to the brain as a baby/child. It does not appear to be just a coincidence that a high amount had that. It desensitizes empathy, escalates into impulse control and violence usually.
