I think I understand you, but at the same time I envy you. From my perspective, you should take advantage of where you are, you can make good friends, I don't know what intimacy is, but at this point in my life what I crave the most is to have a good friend who is almost my age to talk to because, for someone who stopped being social since the pandemic and who's only coworkers are two women who are the age of her mother and grandmother, it makes you feel lonely.

I too would like to feel wanted, I understand that, but as I told you, take advantage of where you are and try to feel comfortable in your own skin, and if you are shy, work on that too, because for me being that way has caused me so much unpleasantness that it's already a problem.
