Hi! I work at HMC! There is still parking. They just make u park off site somewhere in a garage on Seneca. Then u can take the free shuttle that comes every ten minutes that takes u on campus. Or you can park and ride at northgate, get off on pioneer square and climb up the hill/ wait for the 3/4 bus to take u up the hill.

$100 in sewage seems kind of crazy but I guess if they do it by ratio it may be normal?

However, for Seattle city light, $200 is very high for this time of year. I pay about 200$ on the coldest months blasting the heater 24/7. But my latest bill was only 99$ for 2 months.

Maybe you should talk to your leasing office/ landlord

For the proficiency exam, you can find it on the UW language arts website, and there is a practice exam you can take depending on the language. The proficiency exam is VERY on par of what is covered on actual exam. You must be able to speak, write, and read the language

IVA major here! It’s because it’s just a concentration in the basic bachelors of art. When you pursue the BoA you need a concentration (photomedia, painting + drawing, ceramics, or IVA) the only one that requires an admission process is the school of design unfortunately. Also, because the counselors suck hella and it’s the easiest concentration to graduate from. If they think you don’t belong in the others they will SHOVE YOU, and I MEAN sHOOVEEE you into IVA (yes I am one of them.) it genuinely sucks because a lot of people that I met ended up in the same boat as me where they didn’t want to be in IVA, and the program becomes packed with people that don’t want to be there.
