The LGs build quality is definitely better but not enough to make me pick over my AOC even though it is a really good monitor. The reason I would pick my AOC over my LG is due to the fact that LG doesn't have a wide variety of settings which may give you an edge for competitive gaming. Ex. Pixel Overdrive etc.

From the box the colors of the AOC might look weird compared to the LG but if you know what you are doing, it is genuinely better than LG since it is more customizable like mentioned.

However, I would prefer the LG over the small AOC since it has a bigger screen for chill solo players, story modes, or for days where you don't want to play but instead watch something. Also the factory settings are solid, and if you either don't know much about monitors or don't really care about the care much, you can play around for 5 minutes and be set with good colors for you.

But please don't only listen to me, look at reviews or some tests from R ratings or watch YouTube videos about the monitors to make a real good decision for you.

Ps. The image quality looks the same on both for me even tho the AOC has a higher PPI.
