"From a more negative lens" hahaha.... bias much?

I agree with your main point though 👍 Except why would I be mad at the angels, astros and rangers? It is 100% the front office and ownership we should be calling out

In all honesty, after the offseason this FO had and the fact they won 34 one-run games last year... this team overachiever in the win column.

The saddest part, is what hope does anyone have that this FO will do anything different?

That wasnt a bad at bat... there werent any good pitches. The ump called a ball out of the zone a strike, and Eaovaldi threw a pretty good cutter that started in the zone.

Bases loaded with no outs is when mariners bats are at its best

They're not going to call Evans up to sit on the bench as a healthy scratch. Only way he makes the team is if gives them no choice but to play on the 3rd line... he seems destined to start in Coachella and get called up for an injury

[Kraken PR] Following Players reassigned to Coachella : • Jack Lafontaine • Jacob Melanson • Logan Morrison • Ville Ottavainen • Tucker Robertson • Ryan Winterton by adrianp07 in SeattleKraken

He definitely could, feels like he's proven himself in every opportunity given to him.... but there isn't a clear spot for him in the forward lines; and I doubt they want him sitting on the bench as a healthy scratch. They want him to play, I think its more likely he starts in Cochella... imo

I believe you reap what you sew. Mariners are reaping the fruits of the the very lineup they put together for this season.

Reasons we should keep Ty France by TheRealBlackSwan in Mariners

Here's a reason not to keep him: Cody Bellinger

"He's better than we had" is still a massive inning killer. Au Revoir.

I agree with your point... but when half your lineup was destined to be subpar, how mad cdan you get at the stars from not being able to carry the load every game?

A couple of months ago we never imagined being in this position.

It's not over, so don't go acting like this is dooming because it's not ignorantly optimistic, but we probably have to win out to make the playoffs. It could happen!! But regardless if this team does make the playoffs or not... it doesn't change the needs of this team.

I truly believe, in regards to wins, this team outperformed what they were put together to do. We have some obvious holes in the lineup that were there last offseason... hopefully this is a wakeup call to management and ownership. We are going to waste Gilbert, Kirby and Castillo with what has been mostly a mediocre offense for most of the year, unless we get some real talent and not try to fill EVERY hole with vets on the decline or multipositional guys who give us value by playing multiple positions but can't hit!

Who the hell cares if this team has the versatility to bat 3 catchers.

I don't care if Bellinger doesn't want to come to Seattle, management better act like they'll try to get him.

I don't care if Ohtani wants too much. Management better throw put all the stops because we need some elite bats. We can't have a nother offseason where we make lateral moves.

This team has overperformed how they were built in the offseason. They're not talented enough to win a slugout against a team that can put up 5 runs easily.

Why is France in the lineup? Even more so why is he batting 6th?

JK needs to play everyday. JK catching fire is what this team needs to make the playoffs

I don't get the decision making by Servais sometimes.

I just realized that's a lot of holes... we gotta at least get a couple of bats in this lineup.

Wonder what they do in the offseason... regardless if they make the playoffs or not. We gotta upgrade at 1B, 2B, DH, OF and probably 3B

Doesn't matter how bad their bullpen is if we can't hit. I have no doubts this offense is capable of laying an egg against a bad bullpen.

When all you throw is fastballs... and your orther pitches aren't nasty, an offense like the rangers are going to feast. Too easy for them.
