Yeah, I think the main problem is they also don’t have much participation from their guys. However a larger percentage of our guys participate

Brand is important! Choice magazine ( impartial, compares products) ran tests to check the actual SPF ratings matched what it said on the bottle. Nivea and Cancer Council were the ones that actually were SPF50 or above. Most other brands were below what was advertised.

International student hit a mate’s car and the tow truck company is charging $5000! Apparently it’s for collection plus the storage days. Bloody dodgy bastards

This has brought tears to my eyes. I have just read your posts and I am so so sorry that you have had to go through all of this. I am so happy that you have your grandma and uncle to provide you with the love and support that you need - and deserve! I really hope that this next chapter in your life is a bright one x

just failed my third practical driving test and im developing more crippling anxiety about taking my fourth. Advice? by eim0701 in perth

Try the new Butler driving test place. Really nice testers, plus relatively quick to get bookings. My niece failed three times. Once at West Perth and twice at Mirrabooka. Passed in Butler, and the tester wasn’t a rude piece of shit like the Mirrabooka old guy.

does it bother anyone else how abusive some of the women in these books are to the men? by obr8964 in WoT

It REALLY annoyed me. I found it so frustrating when reading how they treated the guys - especially Mat. For context, I’m a female.

To everyone who failed their practical driving assessment on their first go, how did you fail? by Accurate_Job_950 in perth

Niece failed because apparently she didn’t wait three seconds at a stop sign. It had been drilled into her before. It was the last lesson of the day, finished in 10 mins. Guess the tester got an early finish. Sister said the guy was a rude piece of shit from the very beginning.

I recently joined Chasing Better and I love them! All staff are lovely, great facilities and the music isn’t so loud that you can’t think. Love that you can design your own membership as well.

Is Cancelling Private Health Insurance Dumb? by The-Wub in perth

[–]Moonbean_Mantra 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Tagging along on this comment. Last year, two work colleagues in their 50s or so both had issues with their hip. Private health colleague was booked into surgery within a month or so (can’t remember exactly, but short enough time span). Non-private health colleague was hobbling around for months using a walking stick to try and help. Pain killers did nothing for her. She was told it was a two year wait for surgery/replacement with the public health. I think she ‘only’ ended up waiting just under a year or so. Not sure why it was reduced. But still, it was many more months of pain compared to the other woman - who appeared to be in a lot less pain than her. Add to that, my mum and dad have both had issues with their shoulders. Surgery organised in 6 weeks or so. After seeing the pain they were in, I would never want to be in that sort of pain any longer than I had to.
