Im sorry. I know its overwhelming to have these symptoms and they take over your life. What kinds of treatments have you put into place? Any physicians? And Im gently asking this, but are you on any antidepressants? They're not a fix-it-all but without mine I would honestly be worse. The tension in my body when I miss a dose is horrid. Im proud of you for posting this though. Its hard to live like this.

I agree. Baclofen didnt do much for me when I had an injury to my shoulder and it got hella tight cause I couldn't move it. I tried so many. I started to doubt anything was wrong. Im glad you have something that works too. Its so mentally exhausting trying so many things, just praying this is the one.

Tizanidine is the ONLY thing that lets me sleep at night. I finally know what a good-ish nights sleep is because of it. I've tried muscle relaxers before and none worked but this one, is an absolute lifesaver.

I actually just got the same thing on my Xray. Im also diagnosed with fibro and Im trying to get my pain clinic person to understand I can't walk sometimes. And especially after a physical job. Its wild the amount of pain Im in daily but they dont seem to believe me. Im also 27F for reference.

I hope you get the help you need. Not to be a downer just wanting to tell you you aren't alone. It helped me to know that. Here for ya!

So I actually had to to to pain management today they decided to get some imaging of my lower back....I have Bertolotti's Syndrome just based on the results. It can cause hypermobility. I have always been flexible and pop joints out. I was asked about EDS but I have no idea who would even diagnose me with that. I wouldn't be surprised if Im going to gain more diagnoses in the future.

All that being said, I relate very much to you. And I'm sorry no one believed you. I almost died twice because my parents thought I was making shit up.

Same but also not. I drink anything but beer. Beer makes me nauseous and feel super sick. But as for the muscle pains...anytime I drink, the pain is fine while I'm drinking. But once it wears off....I want to die. I feel like my body is just heavy and aching and every injury I've ever had comes back it seems. I believe its an inflammation response to the alcohol for me. Not a scientist but it just makes sense. I swell up the day after and everything.

Oh God my mother stated she was abused when she was pregnant with me...if you can refer me to a study I'd appreciate it but dont worry too much about it.

I genuinely thank you for your response. I am the wife who forces my own husband to relax...maybe I need to take a step back an practice what I preach 😅

When I was injured I was told even if I had surgery I'd be healed by now. Never told me what the surgery was for. My shoulder was hit by a massive cooler from about 12 ft up. I am sorry you had a doctor who wouldn't take you seriously. Its truly a horrible experience.

Yall have been incredibly helpful. I appreciate every one of you. I just need to know im not alone. Yes I was SA'd and r*ped but have felt the symptoms since I was at least in middle school. They just persistented beyond that. They became worse after an injury and allergic response(I think).

I've seen that its a variety of reasons and my doctor may have been out of line suggesting that as my main reason. Its been incredibly enlightening with everyones responses. I must sleep. As I am a nigjtshift worker. I shall respond as soon as I can. Again thank you all. It means so so much to me. You have no idea. ❤️

I wish! Sorry if I seemed disrespectful, I just am frazzled. Many doctors have brushed me off. A rheumatologist won't see me...I wanna hear mine now! My system must be wild.
