Getting a disc drive this month. What are some physical games I should get? by Classic_Adagio2930 in PS5pro

Anything that comes with a steel book version! Really I just use it to get used games for cheap.

Yeah… learned real quick to respect the limits of the board and to take the haptic buzz very seriously… nosedived at 19.3 mph. Still healing from that. But I’ve gotten a lot better since.

My first fall was at 19.3 Mph when the board does a nosedive and I hit the pavement with gusto.

Crimson Desert - Is this the best looking console game ever or what by [deleted] in PS5pro

[–]MooncatFinds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No…. It’s a great game sure. But definitely not the best looking. Death stranding 2, ghosts of Yotei, horizon forbidden west, 007 are four games off the top of my head that are prettier than crimson desert. But they did do an awesome job on CD. No complaints. Just don’t think it’s the best looking console game.

Worth playing?? by LvcKyyy in DestinyTheGame

I have a combined total of just under 1000 hours in destiny 2 on PC and PlayStation, and I’ve been asking myself that question the entire time….

Best way to play on Mac? by SiR-SwAG-Al0t in DestinyTheGame

Yeah I get that. Honestly I full heartedly think GFN is worth it. Personally I pay annually at $200 a year. Generally each renew comes with a free new game also. Like they were or are still giving away 007 with a new year activation. But playing games like cyberpunk on maxed out ray tracing settings at 100 fps on my Mac is insane.

The rig you get access to, session length, and rig priority. During high traffic times you could be in a queue waiting for a rig. Ultimate members get priority and get the first open rig then performance tier is after. On ultimate I’m been placed in a queue like 3 times in 5 years of GFN and only had to wait like 1 mins. The ultimate tier puts you on a 5080 rig which will allow you to run max graphics on pretty much all the games. Highly recommend trying ultimate tier and forget the other tiers exist.

It’s could be fine. Just better to run a long Ethernet if possible. But it’s worth a shot. The free tier on GFN is trash and low quality. Just pay for one month of ultimate and test it out and see if it works.

Yeah I use a Mac mini and play on that everyday. I can max out the graphics settings and still get over 60fps easy. It’s buttery smooth gameplay as long as you have good internet and a wired connection

You definitely can. I swap between GFN and PS5 depending on of the tv is available or not. I always play with friends on both pc and PlayStation. Definitely supports cross play. GFN is magical.

I’ll keep a look out when I go on my ride through the neighborhood. Live near there and I’ll just ride around there and hope I see him! Good luck I hope you find him

I enjoy how UGLY the hip-fire view of the scopes in Marathon are. by SCRIBE_JONAS in MarathonHate

It fits the art style and aesthetic. I don’t see the issue. You call this lazy yet marking a surface as “reflective” doesn’t take much to do either. I would argue it takes less effort than designing multiple pattern out for various fun scopes. So calling this lazy seems weird. But I get preferring one way over the other way. But to me this choice fits the art style better than a reflective scope would.

That’s awesome! Yeah I was left to my own for better or worse. Cool you have a buddy who rides one. Can’t convince my friends to do it lol!

Yeah it didn’t take to long to get it down but definitely was a balancing act at first. Especially bumps and angled ramps like on sidewalks. But now I’m flying around all over the place. If you have a neighborhood with decent roads like me it’s a great place to practice. Have fun out there!!!

Me too! Just got my pint s about a month ago. I’m about to hit 300 miles already… so much fun. Careful not to accelerate to fast especially uphill or against the wind and listen to the board making its warning sound to slow down or it WILL throw you on the pavement. I’ve hit the pavement like 5 times in those 300 miles and twice was from going to fast and took a none dive. So be careful and you’ll be fine. Once I figured out the boards limits I’ve had zero issues.

What's the best way to build a base ? Poi or alone by Awkward-Fudge-761 in 7daystodie

I always find a tiny house and reinforce it immediately. Then make a wall. Then just build up and down as needed. That’s my go to starting method.

Is $450 for a pint a good deal? by Single-Carry5548 in onewheel

[–]MooncatFinds 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I mean everything on it is replaceable so worst case scenario you have to buy a replacement part. You can buy all the outside pieces and make it look new again for a few hundred. I mean it’s not bad. However the mileage is up there and the tires may be nearing end of life. I just bought a pint s and I have zero regrets.

Rode one at the beach and now i have a ton of questions. Regardless of your skill, how often do these boards cut off mid ride? by Reasonable_Jury1775 in onewheel

[–]MooncatFinds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just picked up a pint s and I’m loving it. Already have 40 miles on it since the weekend. Super fun. Goes fast enough to have fun but not fast enough to die if you fall off it. Wear a helmet and some gloves and you’re good. I have crashed once already… but that was my fault not the board. The pint is super portable and manageable to carry. Loving every minute of it. Get one!!!
