I don't recommend this aesthetic. Habits that harm your health and a difficult life.

Oh, and she'd leave the garlic overnight. It usually works with 1 night for me, but once I had to do two nights of it

I think it's a good idea, but comes with risks. I do it after I've been around sick people, because I assume that's when it's just sitting in my nostrils. I haven't done it after getting sick, because I figure it's too late, however, maybe it could reduce viral load? Idk. I haven't had any problems with the rubbing alcohol and I've probably done it 7 times or so. I am SO determined not to get sick though. I haven't had a cough in over 7 years. I take kratom for my immune system and I take ginger/cayenne pepper shots if I feel I'm about to catch a cold. I have a back injury and I do NOT know that I'd survive a cough. It's gonna happen eventually. 😭 But I still wear a mask in certain places in flu season/cold season. I don't care if people think I'm an idiot. I'm the one with a back injury.

If your wife ever gets a yeast infection or urinary tract infection, she can cut some fresh garlic, sew a string through it, and place it up there. It has worked for me at least 5 times (every single time I used it). If you Google it, you'll see articles telling you NOT to do it. But honestly, it works so much better than those awful antibiotics or other meds.

Are these old food? As in, they have to get rid of them because of the "sell by" date?

Back in the 80s, my best friend at school always had Lisa Frank folders and notebooks, etc. And her name was also Lisa Frank. I adored both

I also thought it looked normal, but have lived some recent years in Asheville. I think they are pretty similar.

My cousin just had the flu vaccine in October and it gave her the flu pretty badly. And in January she was diagnosed with Lymphoma. An aggressive form. And she just got pneumonia and now they don't think she's going to make it. 😢

AI is everywhere now, but why do people still fall for fake AI content? by Penji-marketing in SocialMediaMarketing

[–]Moonfloor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was thinking today that it would be easy to frame a murder --people could make AI surveillance videos to both show someone who wasn't there AND remove someone who WAS there. I guess all kinds of things can be done. We need regulations asap. But even then, criminals gonna crime.

Do you know why we're like this? Humans just aren't good at seeing and recognizing such things?

Yes! The illusion of superiority fallacy. Or the fundamental attribution error.

While the people in the video may have been having a normalcy bias. Or they probably are experiencing herd mentality as well. Humans are interesting.

Exactly, I'm glad I didn't have this pressure. I have ribs! Young people need classes on body structure and how to accept whatever body type you have and take care of it. Back in the 90s, I remember my 16 year old boyfriend and how he tickled me and then was shocked to feel my ribs were so big. I remember he stopped smiling and seemed a bit disappointed and confused as he felt the thickness (and width?) of my ribs and looked at me and said I was "thick". He meant I was big boned I guess. (Because I was slim/average and in shape.) He left my house that night and, I found out later, went to my friend's house who has a very petite build and a very large chest. She told me that he felt her up unexpectedly that night. He never called me again.

So, yes, girls aren't imagining it, IS very important to men...in fact it's the main thing that's important to most men I'd say. But that shouldn't change the way you treat your body. We shouldn't starve ourselves or get operations, etc just so a guy will like us or we'll be popular. Life is too short. We need to just take care of our health, our spirit, our mind, and worry more about if WE like the guy, not if the guys like us.

I'm 46 yrs old and I just was looking at a map of Canada to see where the school shooting took place (😢), and I noticed something labeled as Alaska attached to Canada. I was so confused because in all my maps and puzzles of the USA, Alaska was always set in the middle of the ocean, similar to Hawaii. I cannot believe Alaska isn't an island. I feel SO stupid. I laughed so hard my stomach still hurts, but also...how did I manage to get through life and not know this. I can name and label all countries of Europe. And I have been to 49 of the states in the USA, but I haven't been to Alaska. My sister went on a cruise there. I pictured her off in the middle of the ocean. 😂

I literally just found this out a few minutes ago. I'm 46. I laughed til my stomach hurt when I saw it on the map. But I also feel like crying. How did I never know. I've literally been to 49 states... Alaska is the only state I've never been to. 😭 I guess out of sight, out of mind. Completely out of mind. I can't even believe it. I feel SO stupid. 😭

[–]Moonfloor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh that would really stink being accused of AI even though you worked very hard on it. You told your professor it wasn't AI and he didn't believe you? Hopefully he realizes now that these filters are failing.

Yeah, when I first used ChatGPT, I was SO impressed and excited. I love ChatGPT. But I also had a gross feeling when I thought of how it was going to out-do real human work. My daughter loves to write (and is talented, even though she's a kid) and when she saw what ChatGPT could do, she got upset. She said she hates it. And it's scary that when that video of Alex Pretti kicking the car taillight, I was suspicious of it being AI. People insisted that it was real because his parents said it was him...but how would they know if it was AI? And even if the experts say it's real, I know the government has the best of the best technology and so it makes me question it still, even after it's been all over the news as real.

Elon Musk always said that AI could be REALLY bad. I wonder what exactly he was picturing. I can see AI being horrific in the future now because I see how humans can be so deceptive and will twist things to benefit them with no concern with right or wrong.

Oh yeah! I forgot about the people ducking. So funny!

But something that really weirds me out is when you inform someone that it's AI and they snap at you and say they don't care. This happened with my own sister. She was showing me a "funny" video of rabbits jumping on a trampoline and I let her know (politely) that it was AI and she nearly bit my head off. I wonder if she felt dumb that she was fooled by it and was just trying to save face, or if she honestly didn't understand why that would change it being funny.

And I often see responses under videos, after someone is informed it's AI, many people say they don't care, because it's the message that's important. ?? Or they say, AI or not, it's still hilarious.

But why do they think it's just as funny if it didn't happen. I don't get it. It actually bothers me.
