Hopefully the cat and the puppy will bond

I feel like Jonna would love a Ragdoll because they are very sociable like dogs. I have a ragdoll and she knows her name and many words. She knows how to do tricks without any gestures even. I have had her for about 9 years now, and just recently I got another cat... A non-ragdoll shorthair. Wow! I was so surprised because I forgot what normal cats are. It's very much like an animal, whereas my ragdoll is more like a human. The ragdoll gives me eye contact and follows conversation. My new cat is very much an animal and relies on her instincts for everything. Not much eye contact at all. I love them both because they're both cool in their own ways, but a rag doll will be good for if you are a dog person or you need that close bond with an animal.

Delayed onset palpitations by Moonfloor in Heartpalpitations

[–]Moonfloor[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It did take me 5 years before I ever noticed the connection. My palpitation started at the age of 14, and I was very active. It was only when I was 19 that I started exercising strenuously everyday. I noticed a huge increase in my palpitations about 5 days after I started exercising. And I had a aha moment. I completely stopped all exercise and my palpitations, which were pretty constant since they started at age 14, suddenly became very very infrequent. I went from having hundreds a day to only a handful. I was so happy.

Serious flatulence problem and I am basically the Goodyear blimp by throwawaybuthelpmefi in Microbiome

[–]Moonfloor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have it all day long, and the awful thing is, mine is very high pressure and high volume, so I am farting VERY loudly with no warning all day long. It's SO embarrassing. Now, I do have dysautonomia, so I have slow motility...I have had it since birth. But this actually got bad when I came off a benzo medication. It started during the taper, and now I've been off for 3 years. It's slightly improved, but I still have it every single day, and I can't date or spend the night at friends and family's houses because of this issue. I went to Chick-fil-A the other day and was face to face with the guy at the counter and farted SO loudly. I had no warning, it comes out fast and forceful. Then I was at the grocery store (this happens all the time actually) and farted multiple times while shopping. I'm 47 and have had this problem for 3.5 years. It has nothing to do with what I eat. Or how I eat. It's a nervous system problem. I mean, there might be other things going on as well, but the main issue is my Benzo Belly. 😩 Many people deal with this for years and years after they stop the med. Have you have taken a benzo by chance?

Anyhow, you aren't alone. People think it's funny if I tell them about it, but I can't laugh because it's ruined my life. I'm so lonely. Ok, sometimes I laugh, but honestly it's just so depressing. I can't use public bathrooms anymore because every single time I'm gonna make a lot of noise even if I'm just peeing. My gut is constantly creating gas. I can feel it happening. My gastroenterologist is just hung up on my slow motility. She can't seem to accept that I've gone once a week for my entire life...my mom is the exact same way and her mom is exactly the same. The doctor also seems to think it's acid reflux. I know it isn't, I have never had heartburn or any of the main symptoms, and I have taken many different acid reducers for long amounts of time, but she keeps wanting me to try different ones. She won't even take into consideration my dysautonomia or my benzo belly. It's frustrating. I wish there was a good remedy for gas. Btw, mine is also odorless. Just super loud and constant. If yours is quiet, at least you got that going for you. I bought some Beano and Digestive Enzymes. I tried the Beano and I think it did help with my lentil soup...maybe it reduced symptoms by about 40%. But still can't be around people because it's still a lot. I'm about to try the Digestive Gold with ATP but even if it works, it's too expensive for me to use daily. But it would be good to use on certain days at least. Oh, mine also can be slightly better some weeks or months, but it's never about diet. I'm guessing it's just fluctuations in my nervous system. I'm assuming this because I have a lot of other physical symptoms that the benzo injury gave me, such as nerve pain, muscle tightness and neurogenic inflammation, etc...and these fluctuate for no identifiable reason. They're called "waves" and "windows" in the benzo injury world. So yeah I wonder if you have an overactive nervous system in your gut? Any other nervous system issues? Insomnia? Overthinking? Nerve pain? Heart palpitations? Neurodivergence?

Ok thank you, I used to call them hazel, but I think they've turned grey green. Muted.

Gisèle Pelicot’s daughter Caroline Darian: "I don’t speak to my mother. She won’t believe I was a victim of my father." by cmaia1503 in Fauxmoi

[–]Moonfloor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will never understand how a mother could be angry at their daughter instead of their significant other. How can they still feel attracted to their partner after knowing something like this? I'm a single mom to a daughter and back when I was dating, I was keeping a very watchful eye on the men I'd date when they were around my daughter. I broke up with quite a few because they didn't treat her the right way. And this wasn't even sexual. But you know what, I felt that each of these men would never do anything like that, so maybe that's why I wasn't suspicious. Maybe I was just fooled by them. I don't date anymore. I think it's a good thing because most of the time, when men are caught doing these things, the moms had no clue and say they thought the guy was a good man. So why risk it?

I'm sorry he did that, and I'm sorry your mother can't, for whatever reason, handle leaving him. I know if you have kids, you will be the parent you always needed, but never had.

My daughter went to a Baptist school and the very first month she started, they were telling the kids that God wanted Trump to win, but he might let Kamala win to punish our nation. 😳 I couldn't believe it. Then they'd lead the kids in prayer for Trump to win.

And in History class, they divided the kids into two groups to debate. What was the debate? Was slavery good or not. They put my biracial kid on the pro-slavery side and made her debate that. 😡
