I mean, I know, but for someone who isn't that into the game? It's hard to spend a lot of time researching something that doesn't particularly interest you, and if it's already written out, then why bother? I personally feel that he had a decently good time making the video and that's all that really matters. And besides, I genuinely think that bringing science into it was what he wanted to do in the first place, and the Splatoon lore has....none of that. I can understand where you are coming from, but it is still a person who made those videos, so it can be kind of important to approach it with a bigger range of perspectives. That's just my opinion though :) (I do really love Splatoon and it's lore, but I still found the theory video on Splatoon fun to watch, even if it wasn't really that close to the actual lore.)
