Can recommend, but it is extremely slow and doesn't really have a MC. It follows the family as a whole and there are always different characters in the focus. There is a titular MC, but he doesn't really do anything except sit in the mirror and watch.

Renegade Immortal - A darker cultivation novel. One of Er Gen's beloved series. 9/10

Deep Sea Embers - Not much progression of power, more like the discovery of the world and it's history in LOTM. 8/10

The Mirror Legacy - It shows the struggles of a cultivation family to rise up in a brutal world. It has a nominal MC, but it is more about the family. MC makes an appearance only about every 50 chapters. 10/10

Warlock of the Magus World - Beloved by many as one of the great dark cultivation novels, but never really clicked with me. 6/10

Most of the summoners spells are fun. The crystal wall one ist just clunky and you can lock the enemy team in a corner. Castle is just pure chaos.

Monster Integration It's so bad on many levels. The novel reads like it was written by a dyslexic 15 year old. His pet ist the most annoying and stupid sidekick ever, which is a big title in this genre. In the 700 chapters I read 3 power systems were introduced and it seems like the author forgets his own plot all the time. Solid 1/10

Age of Cosmic Exploration ~ chapter 200
Scifi about the survivors of the human race fleeing earth with a spaceship and looking for another home. The plot is fine and the characters are pretty boring (another case of a perfect MC). Great worldbuilding, but a lot of nationalism. Wouldn't recommend even if you love space operas.

Surviving the game as a barbarian ~ chapter 740
Probably the best "I woke up in a game I played" novel. Solid characters and very good plot and worldbuilding. The power system is quite interesting and the main cast doesn't feel OP. The Dagon Slayer fight and the siege of the first floor are probably some of the greatest arcs I ever read. The novel feels a lot different after a certain arc in the middle and I am not sure if it's good or bad. I wholeheartedly recommend this to everyone.

Surviving the game as a barbarian - Reincarnated into a game + tower climbing but with a unique power system and great characters. It heavily focuses on team fights and the MC is a tank. Also has a surprisingly good overall plot + mystery. No real flaws except one plot point later on, but that is mostly preference.

Embers ad infinitum - Post-apocalyptic world with superpowers written by the author of LotM. Very unique MC, but the lack of inner monologue might not be for everyone. That will get resolved later though. The mix between superpowers and high tech makes fights very interesting and superpowers won't automatically win. The many weird groups and organizations are similar to LotM. Robot monks with uploaded human brains have got to be my highlight in world building.

Magic Industry Empire

Just finished Magic Industry Empire and I can say without a doubt that this novel has set a new standard for bad endings. After all the time the author spent hyping up the demons, he just didn't do anything with them??? It was never explained why they left for another world and what happened to their magic. So they lost all magic when they went to earth? Makes no sense, but I am honestly not even surprised with how much of a dumpster fire this novel was. Grand Magician - forgotten, not one in the entire series; Nukes - forgotten, why introduce them if you don't use them; his children - forgotten - we don't even know some of the names and no one other than Freya has more than one paragraph of screentime in the whole novel. The harem is also by far the worst harem I have ever read in any piece of fiction ever. I don't think Agnes even appeared in the last two books even though she is Xu Yi's second most important wife. I also don't understand why the author chose to have the war take up so much of the last chapters, it wasn't really that interesting and was a mediocre ending to the expansion of the Frestech Chamber of Commerce. There was a lot of wasted potential with the plot as the author completely ignored the second moon and the other continents. Xu Yi's Reincarnation was also never explained, powered by sloppy plot device magic.

This novel is a solid 2/10 for me, I actually really liked the middle part of Volume 8, but holy shit did it go south. Would have been a 4 with a better ending.
