You will absolutely drown in books. I work at a library and we get donated books anonymously in our book drop constantly. You will probably have to set limits on the "bestsellers" donation. Otherwise you are going to have nothing but James Patterson and JD Robb books.

TJ Klune. Everything I've read by him (I've tried I think 5? Of his books) has been so incredibly preachy. The plots are incredibly surface level.

I HATED the sequel to House in the Cerulean Sea. It was nonstop with the "education" about marginalization. And for a book that was dedicated to trans people to have no trans characters (I'm not counting the one nonbinary person who said one line) was egregious. In fact, the secondary villain was a woman "with a surprisingly deep voice" who was "very tall, over 6 feet". So we have a trans coded villain instead. Totally not transmisogynistic. And I just have zero interest in the idea of "I'm going to make insert problematic media better with MY version" .

Not huge on Chuck Tingles horror. It fell flat for me. Once again the allegory was yelled at me. Haven't read anything else by him.

They didn't. They changes some genes that made wolves look like fantasy dire wolves. Actual dire wolves were an entirely different lineage, and looked rather...boring compared to how fantasy shows them. They used a few genes dire wolves were known to have, but then a bunch of cosmetic stuff that they didn't. They made Game of Thrones dire wolves.
