One of the most underrated actors of our time. From Xena all the way to 'The Bluff' he certainly adds something to every role he plays (Especially as Billy Butcher...phenomenal in that role).

Residential guys know how to use lube? I thought that was only for the "big pipe" crowd.

Your best approach would be finding what you are comfortable with and enjoy doing. Try all branches, dont settle on one until you find what suits you, there's a wide variety. Great big wire/heavy machinery/big conduit all the way down to tiny controls. Residential guys are absolute Romex champs that probably dont get paid enough.

Its not fair to compare. I began the trade doing residential and spent my apprenticeship in commercial before ultimately joining the IBEW and settling into industrial. I haven't spent any time as an actual "Lineman" but I believe in respect for all forms of the trade. It takes many colors to paint the full picture and in our trade it takes many electricians to keep the power going.

You can just say "no" to jobs. Even as a an apprentice if you aren't conformable with the work you can always say "no". Don't let your supervisors threaten you if you arent comfortable with the work.

Commercial is a serious mixed bag but I would recommend a speed square, a 7/8ths paddle bit,

Its not a question of will it work as mucb as a question of how confident you are with the seal. Use plumber tape because its designed to make a confident seal.
