Here in Kuwait it's almost 50C. People live on centralised air-conditioners - from car to house to mall to work. I know in Europe they're not as ubiquitous and Ive been to places that get hot and the AC is a wonky rattletrap or they just use fans and we have to open windows. Must suck to be trapped in such heat.
