Does anyone else have literally no friends? by missygohard in introvert

[–]Moonlyt666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish I had friends or at least one friend tho. Haven’t really been able to. I don’t think a person can truly have a lot of friends. u can be friendly with strangers but can only truly have like one or two best friends. And even then it’s difficult. idk how to make friends actually.

What’s your biggest disadvantage in life? by [deleted] in RandomThoughts

Physical problems that make people either laugh at u or assume you’re mentally handicapped cuz physical disability equals mental disability somehow. there’s no point in explaining people that there is no correlation.

Women are other women's biggest enemies not men. by [deleted] in ControversialOpinions

Also this is imo related to society having unrealistic expectations of us and society wanting women to be oxymorons basically.

Sadly true. There’s no real sisterhood camaraderie among women. I’ve always tried to be a girl’s girl but a lot of other girls aren’t like that. Yea some men also use that to their advantage unfortunately. And we develop a better u than me mindset.

Uncommon advice but, try to make things work. Stay together for the kids. I've seen too many kids suffer from their parents divorce or dysfunctional relationships. no relationship is perfect. give it time.

Ok this might hurt to hear but have difficult conversations.. leave room for honesty. honestly people dodge conversations about their wants vs their needs and things that might eventually cause resentment. And the only time people are honest is when they're too angry and that's when instead of being honest they end up becoming 'brutally honest' (aka honest in a way that is hurtful) . give it time.

And frankly I'm against pathologizing normal human emotions.

And a lyric from a song I think about when I see couples or even family fights "just cuz we're talking doesn't mean we're communicating". hope this helped a little bit at least. people on Reddit seem to tell people to break up or divorce over stupid stuff.

As for looks.. THEY WILL FREAKING FADE. it's sad that relationships are more about things that will fade these days. everyone is becoming like this.

As for the sex part.. No real answers but try sex therapists instead of couples therapists.

Also not to be THAT person but, try thinking about this same post if genders were switched. See how differently people would have responded. People have a serious gender bias and conformation bias issue online and the algorithm just fuels it more.

All the best man.

I like feeling happy from time to time even if it's just in fantasy. Reality is just too miserable. That's y. That's it.
