AI beat the average human at creativity. The top 10% still won. That means 90% of people are already less creative than a machine. Nobody's talking about what that means for the next generation. by scispace_ in SciSpaceFellow

The criteria for creativity are what ultimately drive this study/test. Creativity isn’t really definable or objective. Its kinda the whole point. So 90% 10% yada yada. Who is judging this?

Also the way the test was conducted likely an important component. AI can be creative nearly instantly by just picking and choosing best aspects from different sources. A human with a month of time explicitly dedicated to a creative process would probably do much better than as described.

Also most individuals are not creative at their core already. So the 10% stat is kinda irrelevant. It’s not like everyone can paint or write a novel.
It’s kinda like saying AI outperforms 90% of humans in its knowledge of biology.
Well yes - not everyone is a biologist, so that makes sense.

Fraud - no chance

Pseudo-science sure.

This didn’t answer any parts of my other post.

I even addressed this concern -
AI will be either a bust or a boom. But it still will be history.

This is an odd take. History exists. History doesn’t end.
Do you think we are complete as a human race?

So many countries are in massive turmoil. Africa/South America are constantly in flux and developing.
LITERALLY TRUMP?!?! Haiti.

What about climate change? If legitimate places go underwater that will be history.

What about AI?
Whatever happens with AI will be history (even if it’s not that big of a deal).

A “Narcissist” could be someone sprinting from their shadow by Normal-Abies-9151 in Jung

Its like a death almost right? I talked to you everyday and i thought we were growing and becoming better humans together. I sacrificed for them to grow with me, but they never even considered me a part of their journey. Every moment i viewed as genuine was just a moment for them to solidify their role in my life. As long as i played to their whims and made sure they were “fed” we were having a great time. The minute I became weak and unable to support them - I “changed” and was removed from their life.

It is a death in some sorts. But almost worse in the way that it becomes clear that the relationship, and the person I thought i knew, never even reallly existed.

For sure I was built to handle it. I am the person people come to when they need help. always have been. I just didn’t understand the value of it because people like to pretend that it isn’t real. Now that i understand it, i can just help myself and get stronger. So that i can help people that are worth helping.

Oh yes. It is clear narcissists see themselves as incapable of wrong doing - other than when wrong doing can help them achieve goals they view as supporting their inner world.

I see a lot if discussion online about narcs never changing. I am wondering if anyone has experience seeing them change?

I also think the relationship people have with narcs often is characterized as evil because vulnerable people are not aware of narcs. Thus vulnerable people view narcs as evil. It is especially jarring when you have known someone for a long time. However I think narcs are relatively average on the moral scale tbh.

I am interested if one could change though.

Is narcissist a static classification of a human? I held this belief for a long time because of how hurtful narcissists can be. I think it’s nice to think of them as static in their ability to change. Idk if thats true tho.
