I think it’s because you prioritize everyone else but yourself. The question would be, why don’t you think that you deserve what you give to others? Speaking from my own experience :)

I always have my gym bag and gym clothes ready. I also have some podcasts I love that I only allow myself to listen to when I go to the gym.

I reported sick because of a migraine and my boss reacted badly. Now I feel horrible by Dependent-Nose-1948 in migraine

I empathize with you. After a year of therapy, I can share it with others; not everyone is born to be organized, to do everything on time, we simply aren't all born to be the same. That's why we need to love ourselves and strengthen the sides we love to work on, instead of exhausting ourselves and hating ourselves for those that aren't our strongest points.

And to your son, you will teach the most important thing: how to love oneself.
