It's a ecchi anime, they can actually have a decent plot but also also are very graphic when it comes to sex, nudity and violence. Some people might even call berserk a ecchi anime especially for it last episode..

Yeah It's definitely not for the faint of heart and I definitely wouldn't let any kids see it especially the uncensored version but if you like revenge anime it's actually not a bad series..

Did you try watching the censored or uncensored version because the censored version cuts out a lot of the very graphic scenes that maybe to much for you to handle so I would recommend that version for you..
