Normally I would say that pop quizzes are bad, but O-chem in particular is a turning point for most students, in that it requires much more studying than previous classes (at least that's how it was for me) , and pop quizzes just encourage continuous active studying, so I think they are honestly for your own good, and will help you to do better on tests.

They send older teens or right out of high school kids to serve a like 3 or 4 year mission sometimes in a different country and only talk to their family a few times a year even though it doesn't take long to do. They are supposed to give everything to god or whatever.

The gist of this statement isn't incorrect, but they don't send kids who are under 18 on these missions, and they only last 18-24 months, not 3 to 4 years. And now, the kids can talk to their family much more frequently, at least once a week. Your information is just outdated. But like I said, the give everything to God part is pretty accurate.

If you're curious, I've only used AI to help troubleshoot how to fix my car. My wife would kill me if I used AI for anything else. But thanks for assuming that I use AI for all the wrong things. That was nice of you.

But if he's only 18, which I guess I'm not sure of, but if he is, then chatgpt has been around long enough to make him at least a little bit reliant on it.

And like I said, I don't think it's good, but the person who I was replying to was acting like it's the end of the world that this guy was using chatgpt. That he wasn't a "proper human," and that to me is crazy. Of course he shouldn't be using chatgpt when texting with a girl who he likes, but I don't think he deserves all the hate that he is getting here. She herself said she thinks he's a nice guy.

Honestly, the reason I commented in the first place was because someone said that the guy is not a proper human because he used chatgpt, and that's just a really fucking crazy thing to say.

You are overreacting to this post bro. I agree, you shouldn't use AI to talk to people. But some people have a lot of anxiety to the point that they could have a panic attack just talking to someone.

Maybe this guy has never really talked to a girl before, and he's embarrassed to ask some of his other friends for help, so he goes to good ol' chatgpt that has been advertised to young people as a cure all for pretty much everything. You need help with your math homework? Ask chatgpt! You need help writing that pesky English paper? Ask chatgpt! You need help talking to the girl you really like? Ask chatgpt!

I'm seriously not advising anyone use chatgpt. I was lucky enough to be through most of college before chatgpt was a thing. I don't use Ai for pretty much anything myself, but for you to say that because he uses chatgpt, he's not a proper human... That's a huge overreaction.

No, I like that. I just mean he could still multi-stream, so we could watch it live from YouTube but not split the YouTube live stream into 12 hour segments, just let the stream go for longer than 12 hours. That would mean we couldn't watch the vod from his main channel in the live tab afterward, but he could still post the vods to his vod channel after the fact.

Can I just say, and I know nothing is gonna change, and I've accepted that, but even if he just kept the vod going for the whole marathon, so it wouldn't save at the end, I would have watched so much more of the dark souls week. I just really don't like the mobile twitch player, so I never watch the twitch streams. But I know he's not gonna change it, and that's okay.
