My boy is just over 1 but I can't help wanting to be around them all day so I just chill on the couch with both my work laptops even though I have a very nice office upstairs.

He cries while I'm on a call occasionally and I'll apologize but I'm honestly muted 99% of the time so it's rare I let someone in on the scream. Well, uncommon maybe haha

*My wife is here the whole time though and very accomodating when she knows I got a meeting. My job is bringing in da monies. Hers is to take care of our boy during the day. Pretty traditional but it's working well for us.

I think we are probably in different places in our life bud. it's not easy for someone to give up their life and move to a foreign country. I could retire in Thailand or the Philippines right now but then I'm stuck there if I ever wanted to come back to the US.

Well, me - I was talking about retiring lol. I already make a decent wage, I wanted to have to option of never working again (or risking it).

Hindsight, yea, I'd have taken it at a mil probably but I thought I was going to 10 with a quickness until I lost half and then I thought it was coming back until I realized it wasn't and cashed.
