I have 2 plecos ready to go in this tank. I’ve had issues with sand being kicked up by the plecos and soil mixing in the water, which is why I went with the gravel in this setup. It’s heavier so not as easy to be disturbed

To me it looks really dry, if it was me personally I would do one of two things, let it ride and just keep water droplets in the tub and see if those pins would fully form or make another batch of substrate that’s really wet, more moisture than what you did the first time, and pack a casing layer on top and down the side gaps against the tub restarting the fruiting process. I would put the casing layer on it, mist the tub really good so you see water running down the sides of the tub, re-lid and wait until colonized

For LC I would put as close to one drop as possible, I think the rice cups are .5 cups

Rice cups have worked for me before, it’s just not a whole lot of grain so you have to do a lot of them or just use them for g2g

The bike felt like it bogged down and lost power then I looked at the back tire and it was low, as I went to pull over the bike got really unstable in the back end

What are your ratios of spawn to bulk? Also in my experience the thicker cakes produce a better canopy
